Malaysian military now reveals that the Missing plane reappeared !!!

This could be a hijacking case that went wrong. :undecided:

.
why plane can not be located in 21st century where so many monitoring / surveillance and GPS tracking systems are available? does black box of planes don't allow GPS tracking?

GPS is a receiving device. Basically it receives signal from GPS satellites and in many case cellphone towers and determines the vehicles' location. In order to determine the plane's location from the ground, you need a transponder of sufficient power on the plane and you need multiple observers tracking the plane to triangulate its location, both of them are not exact a priority for a domestic plane.

This could be a hijacking case that went wrong. :undecided:

The question is where is it heading to then? The report mentioning it turning back, then could it be targeting Malaysia or Indonesia?

Read this carefully...

Airport and Flight Control Operations
The radar tracking system identifies the plane moving in space but also queries the plane beacon and identifies the plane and its flight information.

When a radar sweep make contact with an airliner, two signals are produced:

1- The aircraft's reflection.

2- On the aircraft, there is a receiver that is programmed to recognize when the aircraft is being radar scanned. Inside that scanning signal is also a query signal. This unit then automatically respond to that query with some aircraft information, such as flight number, type, and owner.

The first signal is detection. The second signal is identification. Together, they make the aircraft a COOPERATIVE TARGET. Cooperative meaning both parties, controller and aircraft, want and receive information from each other.

Now...Speculate that there is some kind of hardware malfunction prevents the identification receiver from working, meaning it fails to respond for unknown reasons.

When the radar sweeps the aircraft again, the controller will not have the appropriate response. All he can do is guess, based upon previous heading, altitude, and speed, that this blip on his scope is flight ABC123. At this point, the aircraft became a NON-COOPERATIVE TARGET. There is no cause for alarm because this sort of things happens often due to weather interference or even cockpit overload that cause the crew to accidentally turn off that ID receiver. It happens often enough that controllers worldwide are pretty blase about it. They usually give that non-cooperative target time to fix whatever problems there might be.

Flight 370 Mystery: How Can a Jetliner Drop Off the Radar? | LiveScience
Air traffic controllers track commercial jets using two types of radar. "Primary" radar determines a plane's position by analyzing signals that bounce back off the aircraft; the "secondary" or "enhanced" type requests information from each plane, which is then sent by a piece of equipment aboard a jet known as a transponder.

"The first thing that many of the hijackers did [on 9/11] was turn off the transponder,"

The controller will then manually radio the aircraft, asking him about his ID, destination, ownership, etc. The crew then respond that they have some kind of malfunction that borked up the transponder. At this point, the aircraft returned to being a COOPERATIVE TARGET like before. It does not matter if the ID response is automatic or manual. As long as the controller is with high confidence that the radar contact is flight ABC123, that aircraft is a cooperative target.

Remember, all this time radar contact WAS NOT lost for flight ABC123.

For transoceanic flights, like that over the Pacific and Atlantic, radar contact will be lost after a certain distance. We simply do not have that kind of coverage over that vast of ocean real estates.

So if MH370 was radar tracked by the Malaysian military, which most likely it was and continuously at that, at which point in time from airport departure did 370 became a non-cooperative target now that there is a report that the transponder signals were not received when queried ?

Questions...
- Did 370 became non-cooperative BEFORE that mysterious left turn ? And how long before ?

- Did 370 became non-cooperative AFTER that mysterious left turn ? And how long after ?

GPS knowledge would not help at this time. GPS is for the aircraft and we can only guess the approximate GPS coordinates where 370 became non-cooperative.

Question...
- Why did the Malaysian military allows SAR operations at a different area when it is very likely that they have been radar tracking 370 all this time, from airport departure to whenever/wherever 370 became non-cooperative ?

Only the Malaysian military can answer these questions.

Here is some more info on how airliners are tracked and monitored. This is to help clear up a lot of misconceptions going on right now on this forum on the role of radars in this event...

Quality of Malaysia Air radar tracking questioned - The Washington Post
Radar is a line-of-sight instrument that can’t look over the horizon, so its reach depends on whether it is located on ground level or on a mountain top, and on the altitude of the airplane.

When the transponder is on — as it is required to be on all commercial aircraft — it sends a signal back to air traffic controllers that reports the plane’s speed, direction, altitude and the flights call sign: in this case, MH370.

Because jetliners file flight plans in advance, a controller can check the paperwork in front of him to confirm the type of plane: in this case, a Boeing 777.

Once that transponder is turned off or suffers an electrical problem, the plane becomes no more than a moving blob on the screen, like a Nazi Stuka dive bomber approaching London.

The radar the Malaysian military used to track the missing jet is no more sophisticated than that used by air traffic controllers, but because the controllers focus on transponder signals, their systems are called secondary systems.

“The important distinction is that what 99.9 percent of air traffic controllers see is the secondary radar, which means that the controller is seeing information sent by the transponder of the airplane,” Wallace said.

“Primary radar is what you need to have if you’re trying to see someone who doesn’t want you to see them, like an enemy attacking you,” he said. “So primary radar is just looking at the reflection of the radar beam off the skin of the airplane, and it’s of lesser quality, it doesn’t provide any data.”
The secondary radar is not a true radar in the technical sense. It is a directional query beam and it moves in concert with the primary radar. The primary radar produces the 'skin reflections' off the target. The secondary radar, or query beam, is like the Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) method in principle, and it produces the actual target ID.

The Malaysian military is becoming more and more the focus of this investigation.

There are some astonishing things you're not being told about Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, the flight that simply vanished over the Gulf of Thailand with 239 people on board.

The mystery of the flight's sudden and complete disappearance has even the world's top air safety authorities baffled. "Air-safety and antiterror authorities on two continents appeared equally stumped about what direction the probe should take," reports the Wall Street Journal.

WSJ goes on to report:

"For now, it seems simply inexplicable," said Paul Hayes, director of safety and insurance at Ascend Worldwide, a British advisory and aviation data firm.

While investigators are baffled, the mainstream media isn't telling you the whole story, either. So I've assembled this collection of facts that should raise serious questions in the minds of anyone following this situation.

• Fact #1: All Boeing 777 commercial jets are equipped with black box recorders that can survive any on-board explosion

No explosion from the plane itself can destroy the black box recorders. They are bomb-proof structures that hold digital recordings of cockpit conversations as well as detailed flight data and control surface data.

• Fact #2: All black box recorders transmit locator signals for at least 30 days after falling into the ocean

Yet the black box from this particular incident hasn't been detected at all. That's why investigators are having such trouble finding it. Normally, they only need to "home in" on the black box transmitter signal. But in this case, the absence of a signal means the black box itself -- an object designed to survive powerful explosions -- has either vanished, malfunctioned or been obliterated by some powerful force beyond the worst fears of aircraft design engineers.

• Fact #3: Many parts of destroyed aircraft are naturally bouyant and will float in water

In past cases of aircraft destroyed over the ocean or crashing into the ocean, debris has always been spotted floating on the surface of the water. That's because -- as you may recall from the safety briefing you've learned to ignore -- "your seat cushion may be used as a flotation device."

Yes, seat cushions float. So do many other non-metallic aircraft parts. If Flight 370 was brought down by an explosion of some sort, there would be massive debris floating on the ocean, and that debris would not be difficult to spot. The fact that it has not yet been spotted only adds to the mystery of how Flight 370 appears to have literally vanished from the face of the Earth.

• Fact #4: If a missile destroyed Flight 370, the missile would have left a radar signature

One theory currently circulating on the 'net is that a missile brought down the airliner, somehow blasting the aircraft and all its contents to "smithereens" -- which means very tiny pieces of matter that are undetectable as debris.

The problem with this theory is that there exists no known ground-to-air or air-to-air missile with such a capability. All known missiles generate tremendous debris when they explode on target. Both the missile and the debris produce very large radar signatures which would be easily visible to both military vessels and air traffic authorities.

• Fact #5: The location of the aircraft when it vanished is not a mystery

Air traffic controllers have full details of almost exactly where the aircraft was at the moment it vanished. They know the location, elevation and airspeed -- three pieces of information which can readily be used to estimate the likely location of debris.

Remember: air safety investigators are not stupid people. They've seen mid-air explosions before, and they know how debris falls. There is already a substantial data set of airline explosions and crashes from which investigators can make well-educated guesses about where debris should be found. And yet, even armed with all this experience and information, they remain totally baffled on what happened to Flight 370.

• Fact #6: If Flight 370 was hijacked, it would not have vanished from radar

Hijacking an airplane does not cause it to simply vanish from radar. Even if transponders are disabled on the aircraft, ground radar can still readily track the location of the aircraft using so-called "passive" radar (classic ground-based radar systems that emit a signal and monitor its reflection).

Thus, the theory that the flight was hijacked makes no sense whatsoever. When planes are hijacked, they do not magically vanish from radar.

Conclusion: Flight 370 did not explode; it vanished
The inescapable conclusion from what we know so far is that Flight 370 seems to have utterly and inexplicably vanished. It clearly was not hijacked (unless there is a cover-up regarding the radar data), and we can all be increasingly confident by the hour that this was not a mid-air explosion (unless debris suddenly turns up that they've somehow missed all along).

The inescapable conclusion is that Flight 370 simply vanished in some way that we do not yet understand. This is what is currently giving rise to all sorts of bizarre-sounding theories across the 'net, including discussions of possible secret military weapons tests, Bermuda Triangle-like ripples in the fabric of spacetime, and even conjecture that non-terrestrial (alien) technology may have teleported the plane away.

Personally, I'm not buying any of that without a lot more evidence. The most likely explanation so far is that the debris simply hasn't been found yet because it fell over an area which is somehow outside the search zone. But as each day goes by, even this explanation becomes harder and harder to swallow.

The frightening part about all this is not that we will find the debris of Flight 370; but rather that we won't. If we never find the debris, it means some entirely new, mysterious and powerful force is at work on our planet which can pluck airplanes out of the sky without leaving behind even a shred of evidence.

If there does exist a weapon with such capabilities, whoever controls it already has the ability to dominate all of Earth's nations with a fearsome military weapon of unimaginable power. That thought is a lot more scary than the idea of an aircraft suffering a fatal mechanical failure.

Six important facts you're not being told about lost Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

.
I have been thinking, this could be a case of a massive cover up, the Malaysian military could have shot down the plane by accident and now they are trying to cover this up along with the Malaysian government? They have been feeding us wrong info from the start in a bid to muddy the waters, this is just my opinion and if turns out to be true it's a disgrace. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the people on bard that aircraft and to their families and friends.

.
I think the pilot of the plane wanted to commit suicide or he intentionally crash the aircraft for some reason as it didn't send any problem on plane .

I am slowly beginning to believe the same...

.

Apparently, it's a case of overzealous journalism. The Malaysian military denies making such a claim.

Beijing bound Air Malaysia flight loses contact | Page 28

2. I wish to state that I did not make any such statements as above, what occurred was that the Berita Harian journalist asked me if such an incident occurred as detailed in their story, however I did not give any answer to the question, instead what I said to the journalist was “Please refer to the statement which I have already made on 9 March 2014, during the press conference with the Chief of Defence Force at the Sama-Sama Hotel, Kuala Lumpur International Airport”.

3. What I stated during that press conference was,

The RMAF has not ruled out the possibility of an air turn back on a reciprocal heading before the aircraft vanished from the radar and this resulted in the Search and Rescue Operations being widen to the vicinity of the waters of Pulau Pinang.

4. I request this misreporting be amended and corrected to prevent further misinterpretations of what is clearly an inaccurate and incorrect report.

I am slowly beginning to believe the same...

Looks more like a case of hijacking and Malaysian authorities screwing up , it really sounds like somethings are being covered up...

If the plane is around somewhere, like in Tintin's Flight 707, nothing would please me more.

A new report circulating in the Kremlin today prepared by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces (GRU) states that Aerospace Defence Forces (VKO) experts remain "puzzled"as to why the United States Navy "captured and then diverted" a Malaysia Airlines civilian aircraft from its intended flight-path to their vast and highly-secretive Indian Ocean base located on theDiego Garciaatoll.
According to this report,Malaysia Airlines Flight 370(also marketed as China Southern Airlines flight 748 through a codeshare) was a scheduled passenger flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to Beijing, China, when on 8 March this Boeing 777-200ER aircraft "disappeared"in flight with 227 passengers on board from 15 countries, most of whom were Chinese, and 12 crew members.
Interesting to note, this report says, was that Flight 370 was already under GRU "surveillance"after it received a "highly suspicious"cargo load that had been traced to theIndian OceannationRepublic of Seychelles, and where it had previously been aboard the US-flagged container shipMV Maersk Alabama.
What first aroused GRU suspicions regarding the MV Maersk Alabama, this report continues, was that within 24-hours of off-loading this "highly suspicious"cargo load bound for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, the two highly-trained US Navy Seals assigned to protect it,Mark Daniel Kennedy, 43, and Jeffrey Keith Reynolds, 44, were found dead under "suspicious circumstances."
Both Kennedy and Reynolds, this report says, were employed by the Virginia Beach, Virginia-based maritime security firmThe Trident Groupwhich was founded by US Navy Special Operations Personnel (SEAL's) and Senior US Naval Surface Warfare Officers and has long been known by the GRU to protect vital transfers of both atomic and biological materials throughout the world.
Upon GRU "assests"confirming that this "highly suspicious"cargo was aboard Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 on 8 March, this report notes,MoscownotifiedChina'sMinistry of State Security (MSS) of their concerns and received "assurances"that "all measures"would be taken as to ascertain what was being kept so hidden when this aircraft entered into their airspace.
However, this report says, and as yet for still unknown reasons, the MSS was preparing to divert Flight 370 from its scheduled destination ofBeijingto Haikou Meilan International Airport (HAK) located inHainan Province(akaHainanIsland).
Prior to entering the People Liberation Army (PLA) protected zones of the South China Sea known as theSpratly Islands, this report continues, Flight 370 "significantly deviated"from its flight course and was tracked by VKO satellites and radar flying into the Indian Ocean region and completing its nearly 3,447 kilometer (2,142 miles) flight to Diego Garcia.
Critical to note about Flight 370's flight deviation, GRU experts in this report say, was that it occurred during the same time period that all of theSpratlyIslandmobile phone communications operated byChina Mobile were being jammed.
China Mobile, it should be noted, extended phone coverage in the Spratly Islands in 2011so that PLA soldiers stationed on the islands, fishermen, and merchant vessels within the area would be able to use mobile services, and can also provide assistance during storms and sea rescues.
As to how the US Navy was able to divert Flight 370 to its Diego Garcia base, this report says, appears to have been accomplished remotely as this Boeing 777-200ER aircraft is equipped with a fly-by-wire (FBW) system that replaces the conventional manual flight controls of an aircraft with an electronic interface allowing it to be controlled like any drone-type aircraft.
However, this report notes, though this aircraft can be controlled remotely, the same cannot be said of its communication systems which can only be shut down manually; and in the case of Flight 370, its data reporting system wasshut down at1:07 a.m., followed by its transponder (which transmits location and altitude) which wasshut down at1:21 a.m.
What remains "perplexing"about this incident, GRU analysts in this report say, are why the American mainstream media outlets have yet to demand from the Obama regime the radar plots and satellite images of the Indian Ocean and South China Sea regions as theUS military covers this entire area from Diego Garcialike no other seas in the world due to its vital shipping and air lanes.
Most sadly, this report concludes, the US is actually able to conceal the reason(s) for the "disappearance"of Flight 370 as they have already done so after the events of 11 September 2001 when the then Bush regime "disappeared"American Airlines Flight 77and its 64 passengers and crew after falsely claiming it hit the Pentagon, but which was confirmed by the CNN News Service[see videoHERE]not to have happened.
