MAKS 2013.......indian angle

Anyone care to explain how ejection seats work in helicopters like the KA-52? Any info would be appreciated.

The helicopter is installed emergency system evacuation of the helicopter. It provides rescue of two crew members in almost all possible combat situations. On the Ka-52 is equipped with two ejection seats K-37 ejection system and rotor blades.

White lines on top of the cab - piroshnur. When it burns, shooting off the blades, and then work the catapult.

The An-70 wins on all counts, and 2 times cheaper. In the 90's Ukraine, Russia and Europe were going to create a joint aircraft based An70 - work was carried out for several years and have successfully moved. But in the end the Europeans refused - most likely under pressure from the U.S. and European business.
And now they have A400.
 
BTW, they talks A400 was designed with much help of Antonov bureau...

In this project, it all depends on the policy. If Ukraine was integrated with Russia as a normal republic, the plane would have long since flown and sold. But the government wants Ukraine in the EU - it is profitable for them, unlike for the people.
