Making Chinese New Year national holiday in Pakistan

We are not slaves like Pakistan who will run to Saudi Arabia, Turkey or China. We decide our holidays based on our culture not others. Even if we do something for other country it will be only in reciprocation of what they have done. We already have exported Buddhism to China. Now we are exporting Yoga.

China will celebrate our New year. We don't have to, because they already know lot of things about our practices, the power of yoga, meditation, so they believe in Consciousness & our culture more than yours.

Buddhism was spread by ppl living in Pakistan (in the area we call pakistan) from swat valley to Taxilla.
So the connection pakistan has with China stems way back to Buddhism since this is where many religious Buddhist scholars cane from and export their beliefs to the Far East.

Why? I mean China is going to be inside Pakistan for the foreseeable futire. This will be a good idea so Chinese don’t think we are some fanatic ppl that won’t accept outsides are close minded. I mean how we won’t participate in their holidays when they are practically living in Pakistan n we owe them for making CPEC possible

I think you have a point. China will be greatly involved in Pakistan's economy and future. So it will be a goodwill and welcoming gesture for Pakistan to have aanagional holiday nationwide for Chinese New year. This will help bring the 2 country closer.

China will be using this route probably until the earth gets roasted by the sun. So there will be many Chinese citizens coming into Pakistan in the next couple of decades. Also we are neighbors sharing land borders. It’s inevitable that either China becomes muslim or Pakistanis become atheist or even partially like central Asians(kazakh, turkmen, krgys etc) . Pak policy in the future will be pro China (culturally, socially, economically, and politically). So it makes sense to start that process early so people get used to it. Do you really think that Pakistanis will have 0% influence from the Chinese in let’s say 50 years? CPEC Is not a 20 year project and then we switch to something else. It’s a project that will be here until the end of time.

You got a good point, we should be inviting some random dude with a black turban from Iran or some Arab guy with a tablecloth on his head speaking some foriegn language in Pakistan, besides the few dollars we get we also get the promise of a palace in heaven from them. I still want to see Chinese dragons on the streets of Lahore that will be the thing. Btw don’t we shut down our country for things like Eid and stuff?
