Make in India

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, who recently came back from a 58-day sabbatical, on Sunday sought to highlight the "injustices" of the Modi government during a farmers' rally at the Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi and said the farmers are scared that their lands will be taken away.

He was referring to the Land Ordinance, which the government has recently re-promulgated, after the amended bill couldn't pass the Rajya Sabha. Watch video: Rahul criticises Modi over cleaning up 50-years garbage comment

"Today when farmers go to sleep, they don't know what is going to happen when they wake up in the next morning. He is scared that his land will be snatched away," Rahul said.

He asked the government to withdraw the ordinance, which he said, "is totally against the interests of our farmers". Video: Modi grabbed your lands to give to industrialists, says Rahul

Rahul also criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his remarks during his recent foreign tour.

"Modi ji went to foreign countries, he said he is wiping the garbage of 50 years. I felt very sad on this. The words Modi ji spoke does not do justice to the post of PM or Modi ji himself," he said. Video: Rahul Gandhi warns Modi-led government over Land Bill

"We had also increased the MSP for wheat from Rs540 to Rs1,400," he said.

They have also reduced the budget for Rashtriya Krishi Vikaas Yojana by 50 per cent, he alleged.

Now BJP is trying to undemocratically push the Land Bill via ordinance, he said.

"Modi ji wants to give your land to industrialist friends from whom he has taken loans for his huge (election) campaign.

"Let me tell you how Modi ji won the election, he borrowed money from industrialists. Now he will grab your land & give it to them," Rahul said. Video: Modi took loans from industrialists for his poll campaign, says Rahul

"There is no 'Make In India', he (PM) wants to make you weak and grab your land," he said.

"Make in India is a ploy by Modi ji to grab your land. We will not allow it to happen.

"He grabbed farmers' land in Gujarat and now he is doing that in the entire nation," he added.

GUYS, SEE WHO IS SITTING IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER IN THE PHOTO IN THE TOP.AND SEE WHAT IS HE DOING !!!!

EVERYBODY .

Notice these things people. :D

Leaving everything else aside, is there anyone in this forum actually supporting Rahul Gandhi's point of view? (that jahamir does not count)
I think most people recognize that this is about what is best for Rahul Gandhi and the INC and nothing about what is best for the country.

.
I don't know how long people will be fooled like this. What's their intention? Do they want India to remain primarily agrarian economy forever? Without land and labour reforms how will we move forward? What kind of a future for India do these politicians want?

It could be and probably is a combination of many factors.

Simple one is political opportunism, that is as opposition, you oppose anything that you can get away with. They perhaps see long term gain in painting Modi as anti-farmer and pro-rich.

Next, if you look at history of such people, this dynasty considers itself the rulers and in a sense owners of India. Thus, what they want is a backward society that considers them their mai-baap so to speak. A sort of feudal system, where the farmer is entirely dependent on the zamindaar.

They don't want progress beyond a level. They'd wish for most people to be under- if not un-educated, thus enabling these mai-baaps to fool them easily on the basis of caste, religion etc.

Another angle is their foreign allegiance, which would want India to be developed enough to be a huge market and have enough factories for their business to exploit cheap labbour, but not so developed that it becomes a challenge for them.

I am sure there are many more factors, but that's just from the top of my head.

I am sure they'd be a few AAP supporters who would have jumped ship from being Congi fanboyz. There were a couple prominent ones, Prometheus and that Guynextdoor fellow if I recall accurately.

You could tag them here to get their views.

Come on sir, they were given free booze and a lot of them left after listening to Hooda, their regional leader. As much as the media would like to project otherwise, no one really takes RaGa seriously, though the Congress seems unwilling to move on.

The thing with Congi leaders is they never speak against the first family as long as they wish to be in the party and plenty after their career is over.

Personally, as bas as the Congis are, I'd take them over the regional players in UP, WB, Delhi etc. any day of the week.

.
Congress can not afford such blunders anymore. Lol
The boat has already sailed, no? For a scion of a political dynasty, the statements he makes are utter rubbish! Somebody make his IQ public! Not fit to be a leader at all! Even most first gen political offsprings come out with measured well balanced statements!

What is LAND ACQUISITION BILL? Why is it important for India? Why is opposition not allowing Parliament Business? What exactly the points of Contradictions are? What are Pro- Poor/Farmer Theories? Who is doing Politics over this issue? Is ordinance undemocratic? Why NDA government took ordinance route? What is The opinion of Court regarding this Bill?

Above all WHAT IS THE NATIONAL INTEREST?

India is the fastest Developing Nation of the world but How do we ensure sustainable Development? How do we create employment for the 65% Youths of India? Do we require some INFRASTRUCTURE? YES!

Now If we want to develop the Infrastructure for the Development and We all know ROADS/POWER PLANTS/
HIGHWAYS/RAILWAY TRACKS/HOSPITALS require land but The Government do not have sufficient land to implement these projects and this is why The Government has developed a SYSTEMATIC PROCEDURE(LAW) OF ACQUIRING THE LAND of The People so that Growth of India wouldn't be disrupted in any case. India's future depends on this Law.

Opposition Parties of India is not allowing Parliament to do business because They do not have any SOLID LOGIC OR FACTS to counter the Government and this is why Opposition Parties are behaving like ANARCHISTS ,They are questioning the Gov. on Ordinance Route & Calling it UNCONSTITUTIONAL But What are they doing a inside Parliament? Is Shouting & Disrupting Parliament CONSTITUTIONAL? And If Ordinance Route is Undemocratic(As per Opposition) then Why is this law still exist in The Constitution?

Factually there is no point of Contradiction on Land Acquisition Bill ,The Ego problem of Congress led opposition is doing the damage & Five star activists are providing support fires. This Government has only included a few points like Defence Projects/Government hospitals/Highways and other important projects will not require the Permission and Every almost everyone is okay with it.

Let's talk about Pro- poor/Farmer theory ,Congress party has ruled the Nation for almost 6decades but What have they done to the poor/famers? Leftists are habitual protesters as they are counting their last days ,Others like TMC,SP/BSP Etc are just opportunists ,They don't have a clear agenda on any issue. They just want to oppose NARENDRA MODI ,They don't care about Development because If The Poor of India will get something productive then they'll lose their Vote-Bank,These regional parties would be finished so they are opposing the Bill for their own Survival.

SUPREME COURT OF INDIA HAS ALREADY LAUDED THE GUJRAT LAND BILL & THIS BILL ALSO HAS THE SAME SOUL.
Opposition is strong in Upper House of Parliament so they will not let the bill pass & If The bill not pass RS then it can't became law & If this happens then INDIA WILL NOT MAINTAIN EVEN 3% GDP for the next years, Investors will not INVEST IN INDIA etc. Now the question is WHO IS STOPPING DEVELOPMENT? WHO IS AGAINST THE POOR OF INDIA? WHO DON'T WANT GROWTH?

I'm sure The Poor of India are very Honest and Opposition is trying to fool them like they have been doing since 1947 but This time We will not let Congress & Other Anti -Poor Parties to fool us again.

Indian Media is TRP Hungry so they won't tell you about the Land Bill ,They will only air the TRP friendly news so its high time to expose every single Anti-Indian.

I remember a real fact about huge gathering in kerala during sonia gandhi trip and the commie CM told that, people are gathering not for any affection to congress party or its ideology but to see what saree she wore.

With Rahul Gandhi, you never know wether to laugh or cry. The latest opinion piece by chamcha-in-chief Mani Shanker Aiyer compares Rahul Ghandi to The. Mahatma !

"I have just returned from the Kisan-Khet Mazdoor rally. What a smooth and seamless return it has been. There was no sense of disconnect between the departure of Rahul some 60 days ago and his return now. The prophets of doom find their mouths stoppered. Tragedy has not accompanied his going away. Disintegration has not heralded his coming back.

That Rahul decided, apparently suddenly, to disappear from the public sphere is not as unusual as is being made out. Mahatma Gandhi himself took "leave of absence" from politics for all of four years between 1924 and 1928 as he introspected over whether non-violence and religious harmony could, in fact, be taught to hundreds of millions of people or whether Chauri Chaura and communal rioting symbolized the real India. For reflection, he preferred the sanctorum of his ashram at Sabarmati to the politics of the time. Indeed, he was not even contemplating a second innings. That was thrust upon him by Motilal Nehru almost begging him to attend the 1928 Calcutta session of the All-India Congress Committee to provide the elder Nehru a protective screen against his own son, Jawaharlal, who had taken up cudgels against his father's Nehru Report on constitutional change for advocating Dominion status, not 'Purna Swaraj'. As seamless was the Mahatma's return to centre-stage after absenting himself for four years, equally seamless was Rahul's re-emergence after two months. It is not necessary to always be the cynosure of all eyes to do one's political duty."
