Muzaffargarh: Pakistan army officer Major Zaka who has been buried in a massive avalanche in Gyari Sector of Siacehn Glacier had called Chief of the Army Staff Gen Ashfaq Pervez Kayni his ideal.

According to a TV report, a letter, which Zaka sent to his family back in Rahim Yar Khan, was found in his home.

Major Zaka wrote that the army chief was his favourite personality, adding that moral of the Pakistan army boosted after Gen Kayani became army chief.

He said he wanted to be a professional, who people would like to select as ideal

Zaka’s father requested the army chief to continue efforts to recover the body of his son.

i never wanted to reply , but , i remember army calling a dead ahmadi(qadiyani) Lt. Col as shaheed, giving him a full military burial. well, the military burial is fine, but are ahmadis shaheed??

fine. no politics over dead bodies. i would rather call saleem shahzad as a true shahed. or perhaps capt khurram (whose name is not allowed to be taken in SSG units.)

When a Hindu can be called Shaheed (Shaheed Bhagat Singh) why cant an Ahmadi be called same??

It must be so difficult for the families - not to here anything for so long and now the recovery of the bodies must be heartbreaking for them. This waiting to get confirmation and recovering the bodies of loved ones must be incredibly hard. Lets pray for them all.

On 3rd of July 2009 he was on his regular mission with Capt Suhail Shaheed and flying from Parachinar to Peshawar and his plane MI 17 went down on the outskirts of Peshawar in Orkzai Agency, just a 20 km away from its destination. I dont have a link, but the captain was involved with JeT or some other outfit.

He also had contacts with the security officer of Mush, and through him, he had brought sophisticated equipment into Pakistan without any custom checks.
