What does it mean? Sound like very evil to me

I also checked and could not find info, I think city budget, this is not big money and Danang is quite wealthy.
yes, I wish other cities in central region learn from danang. I came from nha trang, a city with famous beach, and have to admit, the beach in your city is not too bad.

Not man, its a symbol of fertility that actually relates to the creation of the universe, its very symbolical but with deep philosophycal meaning if you really get into it.

Danang, Nha Trang and Da Lat, those are the 3 top cities in Vietnam when it comes to natural beauty.

carlosa corrects me if I am wrong, the arch is yoni. in hinduism, it is a symbol for vag...:D

I would say that the arch is the Linga, the phallic symbol, but our Indian friends should know best. Its easy to interpret it in both ways actually. @kaku1

According to my picture that also shows the names of the different parts, its pretty clear that the Linga is the arch and the yoni (vag...) is the flat area of the surface of the by pass I would say.

Yes, but that is not the first time when Indian kingdoms influenced culturally South East Asia.

The Chola dynasty was one of the strongest kingdom in history of India,

Included Gupta and Pallava dynasty also captured many parts of South East Asia, but with lot of distance, that not suitable economically to hold them.
