I'm not so sure sir, global events are moving faster than that and could signifanctly change the status quo.

1) US is drawing down in Afghanistan, their dependance of Pakistan for supporting their troops is waning
2) Iran is making baby steps to normalising its relations with the international community (long term there will be another land route into Afghanistan through Iran- Chabahar).
3)Saudi Arabia (a long standing ally of Pakistan) is engaged in its own "counter terrorist" operations in Yeman (not so sure how the UAE's apparent warming of ties with India factor in here)
4) Russia is getting more and more sucked into the ISIS fight (that a plane full of their citizens was downed by ISIS will rear its head at some time).
5) Audacious attacks in the West (Paris) have ignited anti Islamic extremism like I haven't seen since 9/11 and I will tell you it is not all directed at ISIS
6) As I have pointed out above- China is moving away from its tradtional non-commital/indifferent stance on such matters

India does not even have to do much itself, just present a compelling narrative that matches the feelings in many capitals (ie terrorism of every form is bad) which seems to be a relatively simply undertaking in these times. Once this narrative is established and some sort of firm foundation on an international setting is in place (UN most likely) what started out as an anti-ISIS sentiment can have some rather dramtic implications for all state sponserers of terror- Pakistan included.


There is a clear distinction to be made- the Indian public can have sympathy for the Pakistani people but not for the elements that have created such monsters. One can't expect a nuanced view of these things when it comes to public opnion- after 9/11 many Americans (and those in the West) saw Arabs/Muslims/even Sikhs as "terrorists" or "would-be terrorists".



When there is reason to blame you, why should you escape blame?


I don't have much time to think about those losers. The fact of the matter is they will fall in line, they aren't going to have any base if they publically side with a state that has been declared a state sponsorer of terror by the end of this strategy. Have the Congress not already started to distance themselves from the idiots that are Mani and Salman?

The Congress will fall in line, it makes no sense for them to play contrary in this instance.

As a person who has seen Indian RAW attrocities I can too very easily blame all Indians and call it a terrorist state. Pakistan may have some rogue elements but most of us would never do something as horrible as what RAW has done. We can say the same thing. India talks about peace and operates murderers in our country. it is easy to blame. The reality is very few people have seen and noticed the attrocities your country is responsible for and RAW is a very good agency.

Pakistan regardless of whether it is succeeding or not is taking the fight to right wing terrorists. Has India ever taken up an operation against Hindutva terrorists. That should prove how hard it is to hunt down terrorists of your own religion.

Not a shred of proof, if there was compelling evidence I would have no issue condemening the Indian government and asking for heads to roll but there is nothing. The dossiar you handed over to the US was "hollow" by all accounts.

All this "RAW does xyz" is Pakistan trying to engage in false equivalency. You think you can hide your sins by slinging the same mud at India- it has failed thus far.

The (frankly overhyped) "Hindutva terrorist" threat in India is bascially the same as the lone wolf Christian threat in the US- it is almost impossible to tackle at a systamatic level. It is not like there are any Hinutva terrorist training camps in India nor do they receive any sort of state sponsorship. India is home to >800 million Hindus (and around 200 million Muslims) but the actual number of homegrown terrorists is almost negligable- a few dozen here and there are fractions of 1% of the population. If there was any actual state sponsorship of such elements in the world's second largest nation India would be in flames- it would make Pakistan look like a paradise by comparison.

Remember that only some years India was fighting a much worse terrorism situation than Pakistan. Even today 90000+ Kashmiris and others lie dead since 89 compared to 60000 Pakistanis. At any given time a nations status will be different. Yesterday India was having bombings and attacks monthly just like Pakistan recently.

So India's treatment of us muslims no matter how well hidden is a problem. Blaming Pakistan for terrorism is a convenient excuse and convenient way to absolve yourself of responsibility. Hindutvas have bombed Malegaon and Samjhauta. They are just as capable of harming the muslims. Furthermore I was in Lucknow when Samjhauta happened. You claimed it was done by Pakistan later to be proved to be done by Sadhvi Pragya. Your government has told you the lie that Pakistan is responsible for terrorism in India so constantly that you now believe it.
