Major defence budget increase!

No doubt the navy, apart from submarines, a decent surface fleet is necessary our submarines will get us so far.
Navy should procure existing platforms like the F-22Ps, and pay money for re-fitted OHPs, this would allow numerical increase in the surface fleet, whilst reducing chances of financial burden and cost over-runs in developing infrastructure and logistics for an entirely new platform.

1) Pakistan Navy needs to replace Tariq Class...Still nothing has metallised as suitable replacement.

2) USA only provided 1 OHP hence that is being used as a training ship.

3) F22P's are going to be increased to 8 ships by 2025.

4) The 8 Chinese Subs would be here by 2025.

PN has to decide if she wishes to increase the surface fleet at a fast pace then it has to procure used platforms. Some available on the market have been highlighted many times on PDF threads.

EFT / Puma / T-129 / Type 212A (Italian Submarine) / Italian Frigates / Air defence systems would cost Pakistan approximately 20 billion USD payable in 10 years...

Rafale M / Puma / Frigates and Air defence systems would cost approximately 20 billion USD .

Russia
SU-35 / Mi 35 / Mi 28 / Mi 17 / Frigates / Corvettes / Tor M1 / S-300 / S400 / Tanks would cost around 15-18 billion USD. And also opens up the entire Chines fleet.

Turkey

Perhaps Mods should take strict action against people derailing threads. Most of them are perhaps not in senses as this is platform for info sharing and not for beating bush again and again. If some one want to discuss corruption he/she should go on proper thread.

Further if some one who has had and contact with military may easily explain that Generals are not only corrupt u may find different type of corruption throughout ranks. However sincere efforts have been made by current COAS to minimize corruption. There is a proper audit system within army and many people have lost jobs our being demoted in the past due to unlawful practices. But military is not like GEO or any other channel to publicize every thing.

Some of you should think before giving aggressive comments that same people have shed their lives in the past and still shedding their lives. The spirit is so high that even I personally know many retired 60+ aged officers with multi diseases were ready to shed their lives during and after Kargil war. Many of their family members are serving this country in other fields and facing similar negative comments like above guy. It is sad thing and shall bring no good to patriots of this country.

As bloody corrup few t Military Officers/their families and Politicians along with large number of civil servants enjoy their lives in foreign countries but sincere people have to face fools.

navy can't do any thing to stop the drone nor it was responsible for it so i say cut the army's and air force's budget and give it to navy
on serious note its the problem with higher command not with these services.they are the one in bed with america(for good or bad not gonna debate here) so criticize them.
