The Resistance Front (TRF) is carrying out the attack in revenge for the Indian sponsored (per Kashmiri resistance group People's Anti Fascist Front) assasination of a Kashmiri Commander in AJK while he was praying Fajr.

Casualties above are from Telegram sources. Indian media has conceded that a DSP and CO have been shot, while OSINT accounts (both Indian and Kashmiri) have indicated it is a major attack.

Indian airborne assets have been deployed. So far, they have been spotted evacuating Indian soldiers from the area.

What a fancy title!

This kind of hunt for the remaining armed people in Kashmir—approximately 100–200 are left (We called them terrorists and your freedom fighters)—usually happened a few years ago.

However, since the situation has improved a lot in Kashmir, and people are living normal lives happily, it is expected that the people who are left now will create some mess.

Anyhow, they will be hunted down very soon...

Kashmir is a mountainous region with resentful population. These occasional attacks can continue forever.

Col Manpreeet was commanding officer of 19 Rastriya Rifles. 6+ Indian Army personnels, along with the Colonel, Major Ashish Dhonack, DSP Humayun, are in critical condition.

The big difference between the two armies is that Indian officers lead from the front. If the Pakistani army were involved in a similar operation, the bulk of the casualties would be taken by the ranks and officers would be busy collecting their plots in DHAs.

6 Armyman???

Don't jump on unknown tweeter sources... mostly, fake

As of now, two army people and 2 armed people,...

Lt Gen Tariq, Lt Gen Asif Ghafoor, etc.. and countless examples of non-star Pakistani commanders who go to battle with their soldiers.

Gen. Musharraf spent a night 11km behind enemy lines during Kargil.

Maj (?) Shabbir Sharif, brother of Raheel Sharif, fought and won hand to hand combat with an Indian (can't remember their exact ranks) when Pakistan captured the Husseiniwala sector in 1971.

100-200 is an overestimation, to be honest. They live in caves in the mountains. However, their recruiting base is huge thanks to India's alienation of Kashmir.

This is false. Separatist sentiments aside, Kashmir is plagued with mental health problems and drug abuse. Dehumanising harassment by Indian forces is a very real issue. And Kashmiris don't exactly appreciate Indian nationalist fantasies about raping Kashmiri women and children.

Every time there is a minor attack, India goes all out, launches UAVs and Helis, and sends hundreds of its soldiers. Cameras have also been installed in the forests around the valley. All electronic communications are monitored by Israeli spyware. There is not much more India can do, but realise its occupation of Kashmir is akin to the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan or East Germany.

And you're proud of Mushhi's deed, which resulted in the deaths of over 1000 Pakistani army personnel at Kargil? The Pakistani Army was not ready to accept the soldiers' bodies, which was the most disrespectful aspect of their service.

Napolean also went into battle as emperor. The question is how close to combat they are. Tens of Pakistani soldiers have been killed in KP and Balochistan recently. Almost all of them have been privates and NCOs. In the operation, all three Indian casualties are officers.

Lol, do you understand what behind enemy lines means ? Indian lines had withdrawn deep inside the LoC. Did Musharraf parachute into Indian territory or did he land on an Indian airfield to get behind enemy lines ? Anyway, Mussharaf was famous as a braggart. He was well known for his puffery.
