I think you missed the woods for the trees...
The point is..A beard is a beard. One cannot label a muslim vs. a hindu beard. If you allow a hindu to sport a moustache, beard, tika, bindi and other religio-cultural symbols, you have to keep an even policy for all. Otherwise make a set of rules that are equal for everyone and keep the keel even. This is sheer hypocrisy.
LOL ... what a pathetic strawman. I am not interested in naming beards as muslim and hindu
Police rules do not allow ANY religious symbolism on cops. Without knowing this simple fact you are shouting "sheer hypocrisy". That explains to us the kind of person you are. Wilfully ignorant, Prejudice and Biased.
And if we turn the muslim angle into a hindu one where a hindu cop was stopping muslims from hoisting a flag, your reaction would have been very different, maybe even supporting the cop as having done his duty and for muslims to be born criminals (assumption purely based on your previous comments).
RUBBISH. As long as Cops do not display their religious affiliation they are just cops. When they display their regligious affiliation and then take action against those with a different belief, THAT is sheer hypocrisy and Unjust.
I am not interested in demolishing your "assumptions" about me
.... you are free to carry your hate and bigotry. Not my problem. Nor do I give a fcuk.
It shouldnt be a surprise given that India is a secular country.
Isn't that Tipu Sultan picture in your avatar ?
First off, you need to take it easy on the epithets...personal insults dont make your stand any stronger
So according you then, every hindu officer that wears a tika is also communal? Sikh officers in the same category Im assuming?
And sporting a beard is a personal choice..the cop can be labelled communal based on his actions. Unless he/she is discriminating based on religion beyond his scope of duty, your "communal" label is misplaced. Wasn't the marathi constable with the officer not enforcing the same action? so why the problem that a muslim cop is doing his duty?
If you talk like a Moron then I have no choice but to identify you as a moron. So let me repeat, every citizen is free to carry religious symbolism you moron. COPS are not permitted. Exception exist for Sikhs and that has continued.
That muslim cop is ALSO A MARATHI Cop
...... I have already explained what was objectionable in that "muslim" cops behaviour and attitude. If you still haven't got it, go read my earlier replies. Keep reading it till you get it.
Even a Chinese Guy had got the logic, and has understood the issue here. Keeping your eyes closed does not make it night time.
If it wasnt a hindu thing, then why the problem with a muslim cop doing his duty?
Google HINDAVI SWARAJ to understand that. Denial to host that flag by muslims is one of the very things Shivaji fought against.
And aren't we all quick to label areas with green flags as "chotta pakistan"? If thats not an objection, I dont know what is...
True, many muslim dominated areas are know as chota pakistan. But that is popular usage, not govt. sanctioned usage. I fail to see the problem here.
Of course I agree with you here...flying a pakistani flag in India most definitely should be dealt with harshly...
Nevertheless, Hindus have to set an example as well..if we are not law abiding citizens, what moral high ground do we have to object to any other minority in india doing the same? the Pakistani flag was just an extreme position on the same to highlight the point being made..
I do no think "Hindus" have a additional burden to be law abiding citizens
..... any more than a muslim Indian.
Law is a dual edge sword, the first onus is on the Govt. to implement it. THEN ask public to obey it. You do not seem to get this simple fact.
