Made to polish senior's shoes, wash his clothes: NSG commando

bad,the guy was from BSF meaning he is in SRG not 51,52 SAG but no matter what the unit this is unacceptable,the SRG guys as they arent involved in counter terrorism duties but for close protection is making them being used for any purpose which is bad.

I think in the Indian Army 'sahayaks' are there with the officers and their job is to polish his shoes and polish his brass stars that he wears on his uniform...other than this he also takes care of his daily needs like getting him something from the CSD canteen or getting him medicines from the MI Room when he is ill...i have never seen a sahayak wash officers clothes..dhobis are there for this job.

If anyone has friends in NDA or IMA which trains IA officers..ask them what they go through.As a punishment you have to wash your senior cadets clothes...you are asked to lie shirtless on a bright sunny day on the tiles of swimming pool...as a punishment and the list goes on and on.

And our great soldiers are asked to cut grass and make the cantonment area clean and this is called WORKING in the Army..this is common in the Army and no one complaints...no one says i joined the Army to fight.


The thing is it is all part of the system...'angrez chale gaye..apna system chod gaye'!

But one thing is for sure...you will get a part of everything...they will cut the grass also but they will do the firing and other drills in the evening also...this is how it is and no one can change it.

No one can change the Army..it will run like it is running for decades.

Didn't the man have an idea he would be doing something like this as if ha came from the BSF then he would be going into the Special Ranger Group (SRG) wing of the NSG which is used to boudyguard "VIPs" as opposed to the Special Action Group (SAG) which is the CT wing of the NSG and are drawn form the ELTIE of the Army on deputation to the NSG, this wing is made up of many Para Commandos and it is for this reason why there were so many grumpbles from the Army when the NSG expansion was planned as the NSG would be taking the Elite of their young officers and NCOs from the SF units (usually the more experienced ones) who are most valuable to anf SF unit and form the backbone of moulding it for the future. So in joining SRG he was aware he would be employed as a BG, amdmitidley he should NOT be utilised as an oderly but I just think some people are getting the SAG and SRG confused, the SAG were not the ones who do CT ops.

i said the same thing many para and para sf operators are there in NSG,post 26/11 they wanted MARCOS operators too with them which the navy chief flatly refused,para sf guys shouldnt be sent to SAG let the infantry and normal para(5,6,7 para) go in rather than SF.

I think that's a good idea or just recruit off the street or EX-sf operators this model works for GSG-9 and SF and the second model (ex-sf) works for the elite FBI-HRT which recruits Special agents off the street and now is focusing on getting more ex-USsf and ex-USsf aviation pilots for the HRT helo support. Why do they have to be on deputation at all??? In a country of ONE BILLION are you telling me there are only 5-6000 (PARA SF) men who can be trained to do NSG (CT) operations??

And if we're being honest there is a huge disparity between traing of SAG and SRG, SRG was purely created to keep useless, image concious politicans happy who saw how elite the NSG were and said "I want one!" like the stupid BRATS they are. NSG, in there wisdom, did the best they could so created the SRG who were really only NSG in name, so they didn't WASTE their best operators on a no-threat, time wasting mission (BGing)
