still these people are "politicians" in India!
When ever they see word "Tamil" somewhere they support, even most of party names start with their race.

There are huge Tamil community in India who for naturally have there sympathy toward there Tamil brother in Sri lanka . If India have again started there support for ltte is not for a independent Tamil country but to again destabilize Sri lanka to bring it to its orbit . I think India cannot support a independent country in its borders who have same race in India which may ignite nationalist movement in India for as you said a greater Tamil country .
