A woman from Japan has moved to Pakistan after falling in love with a young man in Bahawalpur, who is a jeweller. Kuna and Shehzad’s love story started on social media. The couple got married in Bahawalpur and Kuna reportedly also converted to Islam before marriage.

It was reported that she changed her name to Amna. I want to stay with my husband in Pakistan,” she was quoted as saying.

Another Filipino woman reaches Pakistan to marry Layyah man.In a video, when asked whether she likes Japan more or Pakistan, the Japanese woman picks Japan. “It is a beautiful and safe country,” she said. Love on social media seems to be on the rise in Pakistan, as many foreign citizens have flown in to marry their soul mates. Just last month, a woman from Philippines married a man from Layyah.

Yolanda Tsubota, 67, met 24-year-old Shehroz on Facebook. They fell in love with each other, Shehroz told media. The woman did not understand Urdu but speaks English.

Well when you are talking to a girl online, even if you propose what's the worse that could happen ? she will block you or stop talking , but that doesn't count as face to face meeting and embarassment that comes if you propose a girl and she say " Damn boy you nasty " so reason for it that its all happening online , bring them face to face, many of them stuck with language expressing their feelings

Not true for everyone, that is very brutal Generalization ... My wife is 22, and i am 28 , I am an MBA in Supply Chain management , while my Wife is just High school graduate .. I can easily apply for Canadian or British Study Visa , get it , study there to get their Degree and work there .. my reason to marry was not getting a better life which I can get it by myself.

I can easily apply for Canadian or British Study Visa , get it , study there to get their Degree and work there .. my reason to marry was not getting a better life which I can get it by myself.

I agree that everyone not marry for immigration but when 25yr boy marry with 50yr u.s lady who come to Pakistan for him it seems that it is not true love but done for immigration

There is something else afoot here and those who are familiar with the matters of immigrating to a foreign country might be aware of it.

I was gathering info for myself a while back on how to immigrate. One of my friend introduced me to an acquaintance of his and the guy presented to me the different options/scenarios. These ranged from cheap/risky to costly/sure shot.

The most secure and costly option/scenario is the one where they hire a woman from your desired destination country. Social media accounts are used to create a trail of communication between you and the woman which includes the expression of love and intent to meet and bring her to you under the pretense of your social media beloved. Upon her arrival, the woman does the usual routine. She converts to Islam, marries you and declares that she will live where ever her new husband wants. Pak media (like the fools they are) provide this masala news some coverage and that gives the whole story enough strength to make it believable.

After things cool down, the woman returns back to her country and apply for your immigration as her new spouse. Once the procedure is complete and you successfully immigrate and receive residence you can divorce her and move on.
