If you see news lately you might be informed that there is a spike in acid attacks in UK were the muslim population is involved. Only the reality is that the majority of these acid attacks come from racist thugs that target foreigners and these thugs have a certain "sympathy" for muslim women that wear hijabs. What is interesting is that the media completely downgrade the racism behind the majority of these attacks and instead they just speak about "a spike behind acid attacks in london". This results to far right sources taking advantage of the news to blame the muslims(!) for these attacks....

Totally disagree. Many of these attacks are random and happen against foreigners. Now i cannot blame all these attacks on racism but racism is a powerful factor. Lets say its a cheap alternative to act violently against a minority without killing them. If this does not stop we will have a further deterioration. My point though is not to highlight "white racism"(i think to some extent is common sense that eventually you will have these acts). My point is how far right websites blame muslims for these attacks. Kinda reminds my of when a far right thug killed 8 muslims in Canada and far rightists blamed muslims. This kind of propaganda that exists out there to promote hatred must be stopped or countered in some way

Garbage thread. You can't even tell who the attacks are, some have helmets on for the love of God. Some of the attacks also happen afterwords and one of the "acid attacks" involved powder.

Meanwhile Thousands of churches in the Middle East and Africa have been destroyed. Christians are gunned down and beheaded, I don't see you complaining or making threads.

But what is interesting is the narrative of the media here. They claim that acid attacks are a result of "gang warfare". Some might be but the majority arent. So again the media try to shift the blame to the victims
