I understand that they've provincial gov't, but they also cry about how PMLn does what it pleases. Then why give name to corrupt gov't? Wasn't PTI going to dethrone this gov't and do everything what it wished?

And guess who they're selecting? A weak 80 year old man. Nasir Aslam Zahid - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I don't doubt his credibility, but he will be powerless, just like fakhru bhai.

On Thursday, Khursheed Shah called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the two sides proposed five names — retied Justices Tassaduq Hussain Jillani, Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui, Rana Bhagwandas, Mian Muhammad Ajmal and Tariq Pervez Khan.

However, Justice Jillani and Justice Tariq Pervez are seen as strong contenders for the CEC office.

It is believed that the PTI will oppose all nominees of the PML-N and PPP. It had opposed the appointment of Chaudhry Qamar Zaman as Chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) last year.

There's no harm in name suggestion, but if they want to take part in the proceeding of gov't, then they have to become part of it.

The whole issue is fake elections; the crux of the issue is rampant rigging, which in part happened because the CEC did not do his job properly and professionally. The poor guy was so oblivious of his surroundings that he did not even know he was talking to Gen. Kiyani during the whole meeting and after the meeting, asked the COAS to convey CEC's regards to the COAS. One party that suffered most due to rampant rigging in the 2013 general elections was PTI hence she has every right to propose the name of an able and competent person for the position of the CEC regardless of believing in the legitimacy of the assemblies or not.

the last CEC was also suggested by PTI only for PTI to turn around disown him and destroy his name.

My friend, you got it wrong. There is difference between PTI and PAT. You have taken the PAT line and pasted on PTI. PTI is part of system and wants changes as per the constitution of Pakistan guidelines. How many guidelines are followed or whether there is any such system in place in this country or not, lets leave this matter to some other thread.

Resigning does not mean that you can not even raise your point of view or have a say in public which basically hold the real power.
