pak needs to produce thier own 100 percent quality bike/car and apply extreme quality control. first pak needs to learn how to run a steel mill that is collapsing and imran is offering to china.

Pakistanis want to make an electric bike when they cant make simple electronics like a simple electric motor. I tell you why i bought a atta dough machine from Pakistan paid taxes and shipped to uk. When I arrived to England I unwrapped the machine and decided to test first time. I inserted the plug to the socket flicked the switch but nothing happened. So i started to investigate took it part son of

they make rickshaw and it breaks everytime. first they need to make quality tools then quality end products and train staff in quality control checks.

Its about availability of raw material and skills. We dont have special steel required for internal combustion engine but we have plenty of copper and it is cheaper in Pakistan. Furthermore, we do have semi skilled worker in the field as well.

Need of the day is to form a proper company and do some R&D and designing. We already have lots of experience in amking chasis of Chinese bikes. Now we need to work on designing the power system. The key challenge with the electric vehicle is the range, heating of electric storage device and charging. If you can come up with these issues or buy the tech, you can easily mass produce them as they dont require specially alloys for engines.

Pakistan Steel failled as it was running by government and hence there were lot of ineffeciencies specially in terms of Political hirings. Otherwise it is not a rocket sience. My father gave all of his life to Pakistan steel and I know for sure, it was political miss management and not the technical incompetency.

Electric bike manufacturing is nowhere comparable to Pakistan steel as it requires much lesser capital investment and can be done by private sector. Pakistan steel is a multi-billion dollar company and no one in private sector of Pakistan has enough capital to invest in it...

Yes boet. that is the problem. These electric bicycles etc are short term. Noone is thinking long term for infrastrcuture to sustain newer industries; basic building blocks are needed.

Let us start with leather industry; here we have a huge industry but geared toward vehicle manufacturing e.g. all mercedes/BMW leather seats are made in RSA outside Rosslyn. Cant the same be done there - value add using existing materials widely available. If not that, let us go next level - they talk of exporting mangoes - what about the ones that go to waste because they cannot get to market on time; dried mangoes - pulp processing etc etc.

Agriculture is close to my heart and I find it painful - I needed pulp for some manufacturing, I was able to have 3 types - local one from Northern province, one from philipines and one from India. Sorry, I will purchase my local one I know money stays within my country; supporting local industries is key.

bro i disagree i have Pakistani made fan and cuzins too have them they are slow to rotate when turned on and not that fast. best motors i have seen is japan tamiya
motor and chinese made but these are very luxury types and may only see in custom products. They have newdynamium magnet not ceramic and front and back ball bearings four way brushes and metal fan to cool them.

Saudis invested in a (first) steel pallets making plant at port Qasim, which became target of sectarian mind sets of Pakistan's civil and political establishments.
Investment was of 500 million, now is scrap.
Saudi investors also wanted to buy PSM but Imran Khan made huge drama out of it.

I hope you know largest steel and Aluminum manufacturing plants are in GCC and they export all around the globe.
