Actually, according to the principles of war, IF what you describe is correct, then the use of non state actors may represent smart strategy rather than incompetence. The only problem is the political ramifications, specially in the international arena.

So you accept that your Army has understood that you would be beaten up in a direct war and now the terrorist are your only hope which are made to kill civilians if escaped from Indian Army.

Your so called "small strategy" has FAILED since 1947 and that "small strategy" made you lose half of Pakistan ie. Bangladesh and this has resulted in a chaos inside Pakistan itself.TTP is killing your own people/Army/ISI.

I am not going to drag this. The point is PA won't get any benefit from this. they will face similar IA retaliation whether its not state actors or PA. If you notice the statement by IA they have said clearly, IA would retaliate at a time and place it chooses. So the action from Pakistan will have equal and similar response from IA. For IA, all of them are same party (PA, BAT, Non State etc).

So better stop them if PA can stop them (the non state actors or PA whoever). So the question now is not who is it whether PA or Non State Actors. The question would settle at can PA stop themselves or the Non State Actors or whosoever it is coming from Pakistan side or not?

I hope both sides are able to come back to peace soon. But I hope both sides realize that for this the attacks need to stop from both sides.

But since 1947, havent you guys lost Pakistan, Bangladesh and Azad Kashmir, Gilgit and Baltistan. After all, it was one country before.
