What PTI is doing is called representative democracy.
Since the whole population doesn't have the time or knowledge to go to Islamabad and discuss/vote on things directly, we elect people who will vote for us.
PTI supporters have voted for the person they wanted in the election commissions and it's their job to hammer out the rest.

I find it so sad that in 65 years or so, our "leaders" have been nothing but blood sucking mosquitoes that they did not even let people know what democracy is and how it's supposed to work. These Pee pee pee and Noura league leaders don't want people to know their true power so they can keep victimizing the public and get so extremely ridiculously rich.

Time for a new Pakistan, time to kick out the people who have caused the mess Pakistan is in and bring in new blood.

In theory I agree with you. This is what should happen. We should kick out the two main parties and elect a new party. However there are ground realities which are different.

In Pakistan one votes based on religion, cast, tribe and baradari basis. Voters shall prefer a candidate who belongs to their religion, cast, tribe or baradari no matter how good the other candidate is.

Lets just hope that voters do realize their responsibility this time. However do not hope for a revolution it shall take some time to come, if it indeed comes.

History is filled with similar situations that were changed really quickly. Just look at the Arab spring or eve in Pakistan in 71. ZA Bhutto swept the elections while everyone was saying "ground realities are different"

I think people in Pakistan understand that enough is enough and they will vote for change and new Pakistan.

And what did that quick change brought. Bhutto turned out to be worst than the ones he replaced and then the 1971 crisis.

What has Arab spring brought more destabilization and crisis. Look at Libya without Qadhafi and Egypt without Mubarak.

Change brought about by ballot is better than the bullet. If democracy is allowed to function in Pakistan for next 25-30 years than most of these families shall be out and new blood shall come in.

That is the only way forward.

To convince another person one needs logic and facts which you do not have.

Lets begin from the start. Tell me the difference between PTI and other parties operating in Pakistan.

Nawaz Sharif got elected unopposed, Bilawal Zardari got elected unopposed and so did Imran Khan. Where is the democracy. Why didn't anyone contest against him? or wait no one was allowed.

As PTI and Imran Khan supporter i will be very happy ppl who are loan defualters or involved in any other crime get caught. So PTI and there supporter will be first to speak against them and will not try to support them.

Now its not PTI who can caught and send ppl to jail its courts and goverment duty who are not doing there job.

Tareen responds to SBP’s allegations


The State Bank of Pakistan on Wednesday forwarded a list of loan defaulters to the Election Commission of Pakistan, which is currently scrutinizing the credentials of aspirants for national and provincial assemblies in the coming elections.

Noted among the names are three former federal ministers who owe millions to the various banks.

PPP leader Ahmed Mukthar owes Rs 13 billion to four banks.

Haroon Bilour owes over Rs 20 million, PTI’s Jahangir Tareen owes Rs 407 million, while ANP’s Ghulam Ahmed Bilour owes Rs 4.5 million to commercial banks

Tarin whilst speaking to a news channel, categorically stated that the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) was mistaken and acting in an extremely unprofessional manner with regards to these allegations.
“I will call the president of (SBP) myself and ask him to show proof and to clear me of these absurd allegations” said Tareen.
Tareen added that the loan in questions was of a state run company and the state bank was confused and simply acting unethically.

What have I changed? Isn't what I stated also reality. Quick and fast changes are always dangerous.
