Looking at this, if there is some fact to it, I would rather say that this is why the riots happen in Xinxiang. If someone does that to one's family, anyone will go and riot, doesn't matter how may of them would come against. Utterly shameless!!

In Xinjiang there is a noticeable division and tension between the Han migrant population and the ethnic Uighur people. Just as there is between the Han settlers and locals in Tibet. This kind of ethnic divisions and strife occurs very easily when large groups of people migrate and settle some place else in search of lebensraum. The locals feel threatened and worried about loss of the identity and culture, while the large group of migrants look to ensure first their existence and later primacy. All this is exacerbated by religious and racial issues. That is what is happening in Xinjiang.
