Just thought about creating a list of promises made by all the political parties so in time we can reflect back to it?

- Motorway from Lahore to Karachi
- Bullet Train Karachi-Peshawar
- Motorway expansion in Pakistan, connecting all the way to Afghanistan
- Ring Roads (Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad)
- Metro Bus in Karachi, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Faisalabad
- Expansion of 1122 Emergency Serivces.
- Waste Management Systems in many cities (from Lahore Model)
- Autonomous Board of PIA, Railways, Steel Mills etc*
- Eliminating Load Shedding. Investment up to $10-20 billion in 5 yrs (Solar Power Projects, Dams, Biogas, Coal Power Plants etc)
- Peace Talks with Taliban
- No Drone Strikes
- Recruitment in Police ensured on merit
- Forensic investigation capability developed in each district.
- National and provincial databases of criminals built in coordination with NADRA.
- All SHOs and public dealing staff trained in people skills.
- Police and intelligence agencies cooperation improved to prevent crimes and terrorism.
- FDI from 12% to at least 23% in 5 yrs
- Investment from Overseas Pakistanis including increase of Remittances.

- Public-Private Partnership to boost economy
- Grant voting rights to all overseas Pakistanis and dual-nationals. All CNIC and NICOP holders will be facilitated to register votes with the Election Commission in order to vote in person
or by a postal ballot system
- Launch a coherent Social Protection Plan to protect the poorer segments of society from the adverse effects of Inflation and National Disasters
- 100% vaccination of children, 50% reduction in maternal and infant mortality, at least 10% reduction in the rate of pop growth.
- Each District will have a District Healthcare Authority (DHA) which will manage the health system under a semi-autonomous Board of Governors (BoG)
- A new National Health Insurance Scheme will be introduced for the whole of Pakistan
- Coverage of Rs. 150,000 per annum would be provided for each covered family for meeting indoor treatment, inclusive of surgeries.
- A new National Health Insurance card scheme will be introduced to avail basic healthcare in a government hospital or by a general practitioner at concessional rates initially, the scheme shall cover the most vulnerable and poor segments of the population. This facility will be free for children under 12 in full-time education, senior citizens over 65 and families with low income. Better off citizens will be able to receive medical cards by paying the prescribed annual fee of Rs. 100 per person or Rs. 300 per family.

For the last time, drone attacks are very much a federal thing. I don't know why some people still put in PTI along with drone attacks.

ANyways, some more promises of PTI are:
