Why do some life forms live longer than others ?
Here is natural life span of some species :

Dog = 10-13 years
Cat = 15 years
Cow = 15 years
Tiger = 20-26 years
Elephant = 48-70 years
Man = 71 years
Trees = 50-3500 years

So what is it that influences our natural life span ( Keeping all immature , accidental deaths away )

Is the life span of Humans natural or forced by Medication ?

In ancient times(thousands years ago),human could only live 30 years...
The reasons why modern people can live more than 70 years are:
1.The improvement of productivity prevent most people from starving;
2.Development of medical science and technology;
3.Directed eradication of disease;

Obviously,lower animals are not able to improve their life-span by above ways.
(After all,they can't make anything as human do.)
Besides,mood also influence our life-span.Good mood acts as a contributing factor to our immune system.Modern people have gradually become aware of this point,so we can consciously adjust our mood.

My own experience here.(Because I am unable to find sufficient evidence,I can't conclude that exercising is certainly beneficial to the body)
In the past period of time,I exercised more in gym.Every day I run on running machine and sometimes I lift weighs.I try my best to get rid of the habit of going to bed late.
The final result is pleasant,I feel much better in this menstruation.

Fundamental reason is the exact balance between the enzyme dynamics/DNA-RNA complexity/reproduction strategy.

Some lifeforms burn bright but shortly....others more dull but longer. Bigger brain/body size ratio helps. Simple DNA helps. Slower paced enzymes help. Reproduction is complicated (depends on the kingdom in question). The thing is its impossible to achieve all of these together.....there are trade offs and thus we have much variety even between lifeforms that are similary sized and within same kingdom.
