Of course NATO countries (Turkey included) are partially responsible but nobody forced Iraqis, Syrians, Yemenis, Lebanese, Libyans etc to slaughter each other in large numbers. Perhaps they could have chose not to? Maybe they bear some responsibility for their own failings as societies, don't you think?

Western involvement in Syria (except for recent bombings) have been half-hearted
and have hardly affected the situation.
Libyans are not mass migrating. The people coming from Libya are from other parts of Africa,
many from Somalia, Ethiopia, Eritrea.

Anyway neither Sweden nor Germany were heavily involved in funding / overthrowing anything.
(Sweden provided some Gripen Aircraft for reconnaiscance)

Bill Clinton is not accused of beeing a mass rapist, raping hundred or even thousands of women.
He is accused of making unwanted sexual advances to a handful of women.

The campaign in Libya was based on UNSC resolution 1973. That certainly allowed Sweden to send fighters to do reconnaisance, so good luck with a trial.

The resolution, adopted under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter:

• demands the immediate establishment of a ceasefire and a complete end to violence and all attacks against, and abuses of, civilians;
• imposes a no-fly zone over Libya;
• authorizes all necessary means to protect civilians and civilian-populated areas, except for a "foreign occupation force";
• strengthens the arms embargo and particularly action against mercenaries, by allowing for forcible inspections of ships and planes;
• imposes a ban on all Libyan-designated flights;
• imposes an asset freeze on assets owned by the Libyan authorities, and reaffirms that such assets should be used for the benefit of the Libyan people;
• extends the travel ban and assets freeze of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1970 to a number of additional individuals and Libyan entities;
• establishes a panel of experts to monitor and promote sanctions implementation.

Iran, Hezbollah, Turkey, KSA, the Gulf States and of course Assad have the ultimate responsibility of what happens in Syria. That is their decision, and should not be considered the west.
I doubt that the U.S. approves any help to ISIS, and already at the beginning of the conflict,
it was known, that there really was no group of people that were natural allies.
FSA was considered, but really did not get much help. The few people trained by the U.S.
deserted or gave away their equipment to jihadists.
They counted in the hundreds, if not in tens...

Who actually cares what he says? He rules over a naviy facility.

That said we will send them back. Create a safe zone and thats it.

If this failes right wing politics will win and will kill the refugees. I would prefer to deport them over killing.

Beside that, he just asks for money. Its typical diplomatic bullshit.
