I am just telling you that "Arabs" (in this case only Qatar (by far the most) and to a smaller degree UAE and Jordan - for instance KSA and the almost 20 other Arab countries were not directly involved) are not to blame for Daesh emerging in Libya. It was a problem LONG before the Libyan civil war. It was a problem when Gaddafi controlled everything. I advice you to give that article a read. It only takes a few minutes. Notice the sentence that I highlighted from the article.

You have to understand that Gaddafi used Islamists to his favor when it suited him and oppressed them otherwise. This is similar to Saddam Hussein who mixed various ideologies together (Arab nationalism, Iraqi nationalism, Islamism) etc. So did Gaddafi (Arab nationalism, Pan-African nationalism, Islamism) etc. The end goal was always to keep the power structure intact and to play everyone out against each other.

Daesh in Libya must be see in a local context and certainly the few Arab countries that are involved in Libyan today (Egypt leading right now) are doing everything to support Libya against Daesh and Islamists in general.

It's not a fight between Arabs and Turks because Erdogan (he does not represent all Turks) and Qatar are allies here. It's a fight between whether populist Islamists are to rule or pragmatic nationalists.

Just ask the Egyptian users here and neighbors of Libya if you do not believe me.

Then Libya descended into chaos. The UAE built two airbases there and are bombing the shit out of Libyans. They are the only ones to keep Libya at war right now. And they profit a huge deal from it.

You are disputing facts on the ground now. Qatari jets bombed Libya during the international intervention. So them only being involved "diplomatically" is a blatant lie.

"Officially" yet we all know that they are involved alongside UAE, Egypt and others.

That's not how they view it. Qatari sponsored groups have killed civilian Libyans too. Why ignore them?

What are you blabbering about? Another tool against Qatar? I as an Arab and Saudi Arabian can speak about every single Arab country that I want to. More than half of Libya's population belongs to Arab tribes originally from KSA. Libyans are our distant cousins. Libyan Arabic dialects show very close affinity to Arabian dialects spoken in KSA. Every Libyan knows about those historical facts.

Every single Arab regardless of Arab country is talking about KSA regularly and voicing his or her opinions and now you want to prevent Saudi Arabians (the givers of Arabic civilization and Islam) from voicing their opinion? What has the world come to?

Your apparent hostility is unfunded and makes me question your supposed identity as a Libyan as Saudi Arabians and Libyans are very close.

We are brothers and sisters in the natural meaning of those words. Nothing will ever change that. Don't ever forget that if you are truly an Libyan.

The average Saudi Arabian will never go against an fellow Arab brother or sister or do harm. We believe in Arab cooperation and unity on a personal note (people to people) not talking about regimes here or some political groups. Talking about the average man and woman. Hope you understand.

hahaha - you use American sources about Iraq for justification for the chaos in Libya! Next you will tell us all about WMD too.

Ok, Derna has not been a hotbed for extremists in the past 20 years. Tell that to a well-informed person and he will laugh at you. It's just a coincidence that Derna has served as the headquarter of Daesh in Libya for years. That is like saying that Buraydah in KSA is not a hotbed for ultraconservatism in KSA or used to be in the past at least.

I can show you Libyan articles in Arabic talking about this problem in Derna when Gaddafi was in power in Libya or documents of the Islamic State of Iraq (pre-ISIS) as well. Will that be better? Or I can show you numerous videos of Libyan volunteers who state that they are from Derna on videos when in Iraq. It's all out there in the open if you master Arabic.

Will you accept those facts then?

Libya is so complicated right now.....as Sokhairat agreement is expired ..... and there is no other upcoming political alternative.

Islamists are supported from Qatar,Turkey, Sudan and US.....That’s obvious out there in Libya....any one can do a little effort and search about that....he will end up with the same conclusion.
