Yes, no amount of care, consultation and discussion is working. While all other family members are very well and respected among all relatives, she is the only one very much disliked by all relatives for her lying habit and as well as arrogance. Yes she is very arrogant too. She is totally spoiled apparently. No idea how to fix her, she was a very good girl two years ago.

We believe it is due to bad influence from peers at school, or internet chatting recently or somewhere else.

Good to have communication between families and you guys are concerned. its maybe the age, influence, and the company she keeps. if she was good girl then she will become one soon this is the phase where people see world under them so let them go thru this phase cuz the higher she flies .........

Some people go beyond point of no return and will not listen to anyone. And then they get in serious trouble, and learn on their own.

Arrogance/inflated ego is the root cause here, not lying. Try to bring her down to earth, as they say.
