It is true that name calling is not the answer, at the same time just by calling someone kaffir dose not make him or her kaffir either. However this is all beside the point. Here is an individual who has no compunctions about doing whatever he wants to further his aims; that is obviously to get as much area under his belt as he can. As head of TTP, he challenges writ of the GOP and brazenly admits killing members of the Pakistani forces. Pray tell me by what name we should call him? Would a traitor or a rebel would suit him better?
Baitullah Mahsud is an enemy of the state. Problem arises that whenever PA takes action against TTP, Urdu media pundits, JUI, JI and all other mullah organizations, many politicians including the convert Imran Khan, cry blue murder. Experts come on TV and condemn actions of PA jawans saying that we are killing our own people. When situation is such that we don’t condemn Taliban for killing Pakistanis, instead we condemn PA for killing Taliban, How can Pakistan Army succeed in eliminating these followers of Satan.
It is about time that all members stand up and be counted, are we for Taliban or against them? I for one openly denounce Taliban and all that they stand for; and call all those support them directly or indirectly as traitors to Pakistan state.

I agree with your points about Baitullah Mehsud. As far as i am concerned, i dont mind what you call him as long as connotations to religion are removed. i dont think a criminal has any religion and he is just a criminal __ nothing more , nothing less.
The problem in pakistan stems out of there being no credible(EMPHASIS) justice system which can back the writ of the government. Once the Judiciary's name has been smeared in dirt, the government has itself lost credibility. if there is a judicial system, then let him be brought to justice tried and tried fairly and openly in an impartial manner and punished if proven guilty.
We have in many ways ,by derailing good governance in the name of our inept ploity/martial Law, made the armed forces a party in this dispute, which is the gravest of travesties commited. It is therefore no surprise that people are beginning to blame the very institutions who's chiefs have taken rash, decisions on an arbitrary basis,woithout public backing, thereby not only leaving themselves, but also the poor institutions open to criticism and blameand even attack. Without justifying the rights and wrongs of it, if there is an edict from the Judiciary declaring baitullah mehsud a criminal and therefore liable to be arrested and brought to trial, the system has legitimacy and is not open to criticism at least from the local politicians, without facing the music from the court.
it is interesting that the US is palcing a price on Mehsud,s head while our whole justice system and indeed Government is keeping mum. In my humble opinion,we should thoroughly investigate the source of this trouble, be it Mehsud or XYZ, and move our courts for a warrant for the culprit dead or alive and then let the army and Police do its job. We need to give this job legitimacy rather than making this an Army action which in strictly legal terms carries no legitimacy.
I want the readers to please understand that in no way am I siding up with Mehsud nor am I against the Army . the only thing that I want for our nation is to see the rule of law established and all forms of law enforcement being subservient to the law of the land.
