Great news! GB is a heaven, second only to Neelam Valley. Hope the hotel gets built in time, and they should make use of local labourers.

There's already few great hotels there but we need more.

Very little. But when the terrorism situation is over we can expect more. Most tourism in Pakistan is currently Pakistani people going from one place to another for mazay.

So what m i saying there was terrorism but Now due to many operation In Karachi Baluchistan and Operation Zarb e Azb the terrorism is declining

i know why ICC put the ban on Pakistan.... So Now Things are going in Right direction

Sri Lanka's war takes the joy out of tourism

Since the end of the war in 2009, tourism in Sri Lanka has boomed so much that almost 6 years after the war more than 1 million foreign tourists visit the country each year. There has not been a single dip in foreign arrivals either on a monthly basis or a yearly basis.

It does go to show that security and safety are of importance to many tourists when they make a decision about where to visit.

Once Pakistan's security situation improves, I'm sure there will be a huge increase in tourist numbers as well.

If Pakistan can offer a safe and clean environment, tourists will swamp the country.

Offering a clean and hygienic South Asian experience should be the aim.

Thanks for your reply, We do have a office in colombo and I interact with my colleagues on weekly basis. I am looking to forward to visit Colombo along with my friends and family. My office colleagues in colombo told me some months ago the security situation has improved and tourist arrivals are increasing.
