As far as am aware, Jahangir tareen Khan studied from Punjab University Lahore, got his B.A degree from FC College University, Lahore in 1971 and M.B.A degree from University of North Carolina, U.S.A in 1974., then married an influential family in South Punjab.
But what really bugs is how he got all the money from, if he had not looted awam. Jahangir Tareen Khan was in PML (Q) during Musharraf era. He chaired Punjab Task Force on Agriculture from 1997-1999 and Punjab Task Force on Wheat Procurement and Marketing during 2001-2002, that is all where he got rich from while in government of Punjab and Pakistan.So in Agriculture Loaning Operation in which small farmers were able to obtain loans from the Agriculture Development Bank in one seamless operation, he looted money from Punjabis.
Jahangir Khan owns the Jamal Din Wala Sugar mills near Rahim Yar Khan. He also owns United Sugar Mill. Initially he was partner with the Riaz Bottlers Lahore (franchise of PEPSICO in Lahore) with Humayun Akhtar Khan and political influences must had the role to alleviate his money.
So dangerous is that Tareen Khan is son of Policeman, lot of question arise of his vast quickly accumulated wealth. In matter of past 15 years Jehangir Tareen has gone from just mere government employee to billionaire. Where as his party chief Imran Khan keeps on raising questions about sharif family wealth, who's family is known to have substantial business even before india pakistan partition.
that is why like PTI Cult Personalty worshippers of Imran Khan here pn Defence.pk....we should never follow a person like Imran Khan blindly..he has produced a dangerous cult, which true Muslim should be careful off....he is very dangerous man for Pakistan, ppl like Imran Khan like yahya Khan will give a major set back to Pakistan, keep this in mind.
