U2 Adds Early 2024 Dates to Sphere Engagement in Las Vegas

U2 has added 11 dates to its Sphere engagement for the first two months of 2024, following the sellout of the existing 25 shows this fall.

As widely expected, U2 is not going to pack up its stage and go home when the band’s initial 25 dates at Sphere in Las Vegas wrap up Dec. 16. The band has announced an extension that will add 11 shows in January and February of 2024, bringing the total number of concerts at the new venue to 36, for now.

The newly added shows are set for Jan. 26, 27 and 31 and Feb. 2, 3, 7, 9, 10, 15, 17 and 18.

Whether there will be more extensions beyond that is unknown, but in an interview with Variety at the time the residency was starting, U2 manager Irving Azoff said that “U2 has an option to continue at the Sphere for two more years.” But other, yet-to-be-revealed acts have also been booked for Sphere in 2024, as well, Azoff has said.
