This is not a major issue, if Pakistan brings a policy of retirement of old vehicles older then 10 years, this should reignite sales/manufacturing sector

Beyond 10 years only classic cars should be able to qualify
  • Cars with certain monetary value
  • Cars with known following world wide as a classic

15 years is a good life for a car. We need a policy about that so we can get rid of old rusty cars and also bring policy and standards for the cars manufacturers so they don't steal any more from the general public.

The mafia of toyota, suzuki and Honda should be kicked out an their employees should be blacklisted for jobs in Pakistan.

In 3 4 decades they failed to join hands and build a single Pakistani automobile company. Were they grazing grass the whole time?

There are many reasons but these probably in top 5 are...crying of opposition (to protect their corruption) and sold out media. Both are trying to create a situation of uncertainty, chaos so big companies do not invest in Pakistan.

Not the responsibility of the Japanese companies to build Pakistani car companies, that's the responsibility of Pakistanis. No company will set up its own competitor.
Go learn the methods from China or Malaysia and build a car company.

For an industry that imported 60% of its parts it was bound to happen after clamped down on imports.
