Lance Naik Ibrar Hussain has been posted in Waziristan for over two years, fighting like a true soldier.

One day his company of 75 men were ambushed from three sides, with a well-laid plan by TTP fighters.Lance Naik Ibrar with three other soldiers set off to liberate the near by hill. The terrorists on that hill were killed, and Lance Naik Ibarar took 11 bullets on his legs.

Despite the injury, he was actively participating in the fire-fight with his company. The miscreants facing heavy casualties were forced to flee. When Lance Naik Ibrar reached hospital, the severe bleeding had resulted in loss of his legs which had to be amputed.

He now uses artificial legs and is undergoing treatment at Armed Forces Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine. He was awarded Sitara-e-Bialat by Government of Pakistan for his determination and gallantry actions.

[PS. I'm not ascertain if the person in picture is Lance Naik Ibrar.]

These brave soldiers arent being supported enough...
Pakistan should use more technology in this war...
Motion sensors...suvailance drones....and other readily available technology can save many soldiers life.

Pakistan has started using these just quite recently.

safriz bro. , this comment of yours is the "quote" of the year ... :police:

i just wonder how these ttp terrorists just come in suddenly and attack at surprise with ease against our soldiers , if we can just manage somehow to minimise the surprise element from the attacking irsurgents before or even as they come close to attack the target/place by any technology or any counter-strategy against this "surprise warfare" we can easily avoid the un-necessary deaths in the on-going war against these takfeeris in the battlefield ... :sniper:

l0ng L|ve PakisTan 's army ... :pakistan: :pakistan: :pakistan:

CH-3 UCAVs have been induced, used by PAF and AAC. They have even carried out missions/raids.

Ordinary soldier of this poor nation has always been brave and among the best in the world. It is only the leaders that lack courage and inspiration.

Be it Operation Gibraltar in 65, East Pakistan in 1971 and Kargil in May 199. One comes across lions led by the donkeys.

My salute to all the jawans of Pakistan Army.

deserves Hilal-e-Jurat! - if he was a british soldier, he would have been awarded the VC (Victoria Cross) and if he were a american soldier, he would have been awarded the CMH (Congressional Medal of Honour)
