What's new

Lal Masjid standoff begins

when your mind gets rid of the shackles of pride, ego, country, race, culture, language , tribe, caste, history and excepts everything in Quran and Sunnah as the ultimate source of guidance in every walk of life you will become a momin.
the arabs did abandon many things after conversion to islam which were very much part of their culture. they even abandoned bowing to bait ul maqdas as per the instructions of Allah almighty. what else you want from them to abandon. a person's pride and ego may be good till certain level but sometimes his pride in his culture, history, heritage, tribe, race, his intellect becomes the greatest weapon of the satan against him. the greatest example being of abu jahil who was known as abu ul hikma before islam. a person known for his knowledge and logic but then the same pride and ego drowned him into darkness.
i have listened to dr israr alot. listened to his tafseer of Quran many times and went though his so many lectures . he himself said narrates his own incident that once national anthem of pakistan was played and he didnt stand up. he speaks so much against nationalism. he used to say that it was a blessing from Allah that the muslims got their independance in the name of islam but then the muslims didnt keep their promise and that's why we are at rock bottom today in almost every field.
the principles of Allah never change. He himself says this in Quran. obey Him and you will get glory. disobey him and then face the music.
we used to hear this "nonsense" so much time in our schools that watan ki muhabbat iman ka hissa hay that this nonsense has gone into our minds. after reading about iman in both quran and hadith i found out that this stupid statement is no where in Quran and hadith. it is just a satanic poison which apparently is very sweat.
pakistan or pakistanis need islam for their glory and islam doesnt need pakistan or pakistanis. if we dont mend our ways Allah almighty may replace us with better people.

You are confused and instead of answering my point are writing a sermon for an issue which I merely grazed.

You can ask my opinion on identity, that would be more honest, rather than assuming something which is false.

Islam gave us honor and pride, brought us from jahaliyya into light, therefore the main source of our pride is this. We celebrate our Islamic history and are comfortable in our own skins.

We know that the creation and continued existence of Pakistan is only by the love and mercy of Allah swt. We have no doubt as to where we stand.

As for Dr. Israr, take a look at his speeches concerning nazriyat e Pakistan, thought of Allama Iqbal, Quaid e Azam's Islamic vision, the future of Pakistan, and the importance of Pakistan and Afghanistan in prophecy.

The creation of Pakistan is a special event which should be celebrated by us all. This flag and state will help the Muslims recover their pride. We have full faith in it.

if we dont mend our ways Allah almighty may replace us with better people.

That is a point I think everyone can agree on.

you cant understand a basic thing that pakistan is not mentioned in any hadith and ayat of Quran . i dont know why you are trying to add it. you also cant understand that islam never needed and never will need pakistan. pakistan is not necessary for islam to exist. islam is not dependant on any tribe, race, country, mullah etc .no one is the thakaidar of islam. islam is far greater then person, country ,race etc.
as far as dr israr is concerned he also called pakistan as the second biggest traitor of islam. about the hadiths of ghazwa e hind many learned scholars disagree with the popular belief. rahi bat afghanistan ki to dear what we have seen in afghanistan is nothing but violance and Allah almighty hates violance. most of the scholars get impressed by the afghans as they keep on fighting super powers but against whom they were fighting between 1989 to 2001. among themselves. even broke the pact they signed in haram. i have seen their culture closely and it hasn't got much to do with islam. they take pride in their culture, values , traditions and that pride has blind folded them and they are not ready to accept. what is their culture? offering namaz five times a day, keeping beard, marrying more then one ladies and without the consent of the girl. doing 4-5 umrahs and hajjs, doing 4-5 murders, hash smoking, bacha bazi, staying unhygienic. today afghanistan is one of the most corrupt nations on the face of the earth.lack both worldly and religious knowledge. every group is trying to enforce its so called sharia and none of them really knows what is the sharia of the Prophet. pakistan is also not far behind in corruption. rather then quoting some hadiths the people of these countries should do tobah and stop taking pride in their stupid culture and ways of life. typical attitude of bani israel that we are the chosen ones .Allah has selected us and no matter what we do we will be victorious.

.
You would but does your society do too?
Your single choice didn't matter at all.
Collective choice of the society matter everything.

unfortunately my society consist of dumb religious bigots .Problem is these LAL masjid Roaches are threat to the region and Pakistan, they needs to be put down with brutal force .

I have difficult following your train of thoughts, and it seems you have alot of internal angst. Don't put words into my mouth, majority of the things you said have not been uttered by me therefore I am not obliged to answer them.

To bring back honor to Muslims and revitalize Islam, Pakistan must be nurtured, strengthened, and supported.

This sacred trust of our ancestors (Muslim mujahideen/ghazis and our Sufi sheikhs) continues to this day, it is not a mission which can be accomplished by one man but over the span of generations. Our daulat (sacred state) must go on, it must expand to Afghanistan/rest of Khorasaan, until we plant the black flags in Jerusalem in the name of Allah swt, Muhammad saws, and under the command of Al Mahdi.

We have a sacred mission, a sacred cause, if you choose not to follow it or believe, it is your choice.

Differences between us are ideological. One day you may understand.

i think we should end the debate here. we both are unable to understand each other fully .you are stubborn on your thoughts and take into consideration the largely false propaganda that we have been fed through out our lives. when i ask you the basis of your arguments from Quran and Sunnah you fail to give me any and then give examples of arabs, empires , sufis and scholars. so i think its pretty much useless to have discussion on this any more.so have a good day.
having said that i must appreciate the way you had a discussion .otherwise generally when two people have difference of opinion they end up calling names to each other.

Whenever there is judicial activism in the country, this idiot raises head.
The pattern repeats. He is basically trying to sell people that he is the alternative law and that the time of revolution has come.

Move comes after deadline given to cleric to vacate mosque expired and ahead of Turkish president’s visit and PPP. — Dawn/File

ISLAMABAD: Lal Masjid has once again been cordoned off by law enforcement Wednesday evening after the deadline given to former cleric Maulana Abdul Aziz, his family and students to vacate the premises expired.

Officials from the capital administration and police told Dawn the mosque was cordoned off because the occupants were given a deadline to vacate the premises by Wednesday.

They said an agreement was reached with Mr Aziz on Sunday under which he would be allotted land for Jamia Hafsa and the mosque would be vacated in return. Whereas the maulana’s nephew, Haroon Abdul Rasheed Ghazi, denied that they had agreed to vacate the mosque.

They said the move was also a part of security arrangements ahead of the visit of the president of Turkey and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s appearance before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), which is close to the mosque.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will arrive in Islamabad today for a two-day visit and will stay in the Red Zone.

A police contingent that included personnel from the Counter Terrorism Force, police commandos, riot police and women officials arrived at Lal Masjid before Asr prayers and cordoned off the building.

The contingent was deployed around the mosque on Municipal Road, Masjid Road and Shaheed-i-Millat Road, as well as at the weekly market adjacent to the mosque. Entry into the mosque has been restricted, and only area residents are allowed to enter to offer prayers.

The police deployed in the area are asking people to show their CNICs to confirm their addresses, the officials said. People are also being searched if found to be suspicious.

The capital administration has also banned the entry of women and girls in the mosque, they said. Prayers are being offered as usual, but only area residents are allowed to pray there.

The mosque is under the administrative control of the Auqaf department, and only an official from the department can be appointed khateeb or naib khateeb on a regular basis, the officials said.

They explained that the occupants had demanded the position of khateeb but neither Mr Aziz nor his nephew Haroon Abdul Rasheed Ghazi are Auqaf employees.

The house and seminary which they have claimed ownership of are built on government land at the mosque, they added.

The official said another round of negotiations was started with Mr Aziz on Wednesday, and an eight-member committee of Deoband scholars has been involved.

In addition to that committee, a group of traders from G-6 are also assisting the administration in the negotiation, they said. The capital administration, including an assistant commissioner and magistrate, are also negotiating with Mr Aziz. A fourth team, comprising Ulema of the Auqaf department was also holding talks.

The police cordon around Lal Masjid was lifted last Sunday after two weeks, when the administration and Mr Aziz reached an agreement.

Mr Aziz had demanded land for the Jamia Hafsa seminary at locations that were not acceptable to the government, the officials said, as he had demanded land in the sectoral areas. He did not accept the locations offered by the government in exchange, they said.

The officials said his demand for land made on Sunday was conveyed to the government by the administration for approval, but a decision has not been made yet.

When contacted, Mr Aziz’ nephew Mr Rasheed said that a police contingent reached the mosque “out of nowhere and besieged it all of a sudden at Asr”. He claimed residents were stopped from praying inside the mosque.

He said the residents prayed on the road instead, and the prayers were led by someone from among them. Mr Rasheed denied that any agreement was made with the administration to vacate the mosque and denied that any land was demanded for the seminary.

He said it was agreed during the last round of negotiations that Mr Aziz would remain in the mosque and lead prayers. He said they would stay in the house adjacent to the mosque and students would be in the seminary.

Police has deployed a heavy contingent at Lal Masjid yesterday. Saw people praying on the road. Abdul Aziz is refusing to get out of the Mosque, even after 20 Kanals were given to him by the Government.

Government has categorically denied giving him any land but like a typical brain dead patwari you can only peddle fake news.

.
How was he acquitted after what happened in 2007?
It still boggles my mind. So many people died because of this pedophile

According to Musharraf, when this started happening during his tenure, these terrorists were putting fire to Government buildings nearby.

Musharraf said that even when Pakistan's flag was burning up there on the building, even then the hooligans did not allow the fire brigade to get into the premises.

An operation needs to be done, and the mosque needs to be simply razed, and all other major mosques in the capital should have Pakistan's flag inside them on the walls hanging.

Yes, raze the illegally constructed mosque and go after these terrorists who are nothing but pseudo champions of Islam and violent thugs. If Pakistani security forces can go deep into Waziristan and flush out the terrorists then these terrorists too can be taken care of--they are hidden in plain sight.

BUT...and a big but. Why is there support for these terrorists inside Pakistan? It breaks my heart to see that people in Pakistan can be so soft-hearted and fickle. In 2007 there was a huge public demand to crush the terrorists inside Lal Masjid. The Musharraf govt bargained and appeased for a long time but finally had to act. But the stupid media of Pakistan turned the operation into some attack on innocent girls and children. The terrorists became the victim and the State of Pakistan became the perpetrator of violence.

Even now--otherwise sane elements of Pakistan blame Musharraf for the Lal Masjid deaths. Pathetic!! Makes my blood boil.
