LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Initial report of Lahore Mall Road blast prepared by security agencies has revealed that the target of explosion was Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif.

According to report, CCTV footage has shown that the suicide bomber entered the area before 5 pm when Shehbaz Sharif was present at CM House near Charing Cross from where he was scheduled to meet protesters along with mayor and deputy mayor Lahore.

Moreover, the report has been forwarded to the provincial government.

. . .
Army/ISI will get blamed.
are you suggesting india orchestrated the attack so that civilian govt blames army? I think truth is much simpler, some terror group did it on their own(neither india nor ISI involved)... its not new or unheard of in pak.

You asked a hypothetical question and I gave a hypothetical answer. Rest, only an in-depth investigation can answer that. The perpetrators are always local actors, who controls the strings however is difficult to prove if the ones giving out orders are sitting in Afghanistan.

what will be your hypothetical answer if I say japan is involved in the attack... :)
political assassination is pretty desperate and dangerous thing to do, one has to have definite advantage to carry out such attack... it also presumes that civilian govt has little or no trust on army/isi ...
