Lack of Urdu is reason for Moral Decadence

A strange conclusion that struck me right before start of Ramadan. Urdu as a language is rich with politeness and soberness. One who speaks fluent Urdu only, would find it hard to have harsh arguments with his opponent, and be a quarrelsome, unpleasant, arrogant, rude, hot tempered, violent person. I don't know why I feel that one of the reasons for our growing short tempers, lawlessness, and moral decadence is that we have stopped learning and writing Urdu, most of our children know potatoes and tomatoes ..... its one of those well planned farangi sazish that led to this totally defunct collapsed vision less Pakistani society.

By the way the most beautiful art is well "Takhti style" written Urdu words.

This roman urdu trend on smart phones and chats has destroyed the actual values of the Urdu language.
Nowadays youngsters can't even speak proper Urdu or write it.

Have you been to UP in India or Karachi in Pakistan? Urdu is spoken in both , Mosques are rife but there is still moral decadence in some.

And it has taken toll on our society and its well being. "Baray ki izzat chotay say shafqat, Qanoon ka ehtaram" has vanished.

This new Urdu speaker generation is nowhere near to their forefathers. Remember the real Urdu speakers left everything for their Pakistan, the sacrifice.

Ignoring Urdu and its beauty may be one of the factors contributing to it. I am sorry if I sound like saying that lack of Urdu is solely responsible for this, what I mean is lack of Urdu has its affects on one's grooming and habits. For a well mannered society, proper Urdu learning and teaching may help a great deal?

Arabic is only for Arab Muslims. Quran was revealed in Arabic because Mohammad (pbuh) was an Arab.

Straight from India into a Pakistani thread ...... try understanding the gist of my posts. The older generation born in 60's 70's would understand. Our Urdu teacher used to be the most polite, well mannered person. And fluent in his articulation of his well thought arguments.

As I asked my compatriot ...... bring me the harshest word in Urdu.

Arabs countries are very moral because of it, just like Indian are because of Hindi and Sanskrit(!)

For example? The accent, the emotions and the politeness ....... don't they overwhelm the obscenities (if they exist)?

Obscenities are invented, and not taught, what I advocate is teaching Urdu as Urdu. Its literature, its poetry and the work of great writers and poets ..... Urdu has produced. The pure Urdu can teach you manners and politeness which unfortunately are fast vanishing.

Language is just a tool. How you use it is up to you.
A tool doesn't make you a better person.

The language you speak is display of your mentality, expression of your emotions, your feelings, your thoughts, your character. Its not a tool, its a blessing ..... without it you are speechless.
