MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, April 10 (KUNA) -- A Kuwaiti military plane, returning from Bangladesh with emergency medical supplies, landed in the country Friday.
The Defense Ministry media and public relations' department said that the flight was within the ministry's strategy to provide state entities with necessary medical supplies during the current trying times.

Armed forces medical team reaches Kuwait to help fight COVID-19: ISPR

A Bangladesh armed forces medical team, along with necessary healthcare logistics, reached Kuwait recently in order to help fight the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the oil-rich gulf country.

The team was sent as a good gesture of friendship on Thursday, said the Inter Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) in a statement on Saturday.

Earlier, under Operation Kuwait Punargathan (OKP), Kuwait government had requested Bangladesh Armed Forces seeking a medical team to help fight the deadly virus.

I wish one day our medical services will be world class too and we can offer the service to other! Though govt has to be uncompromised on this service quality in order to achieve world class medical service.

It is a good news for BD and the world whereby every country is cooperating with others within their respective limits. But, the news did not specify the medical items BD sent to Kuwait.
