Featured Kushner .. UAE is in the final stages of getting the F35

. . . .

lol, that's so funny, bro. The NYT is such a pro-Jewish newspaper and journalism outlet that the way they word that saying "Netanyahu gave his approval for the US to sell the F-35 to the UAE" LMAO! I know many think Israel has a lot of say in the matter but to word it in that matter as if one guy has the full authority to make or break a request like that is hilarious beyond belief. Plus this still has to get through the house of representatives which might just even block it before it even gets to the senate, strictly on party lines. And the election is less than 50 days away and if Joe Biden wins and this deal hasn't gone through, it might be the end of it right then and there. Should be interesting to see the developments as they happen until Nov.3rd.

But that Netanyahu thing was funny as hell!

Indeed the whole thing is funny..since the UAE has requested the F-35 more than 8 years ago and was near approval anyway!.. but now with the Jewish lobby on its side.. (that is what it was meant by "Netanyahu" approves the sale..lol).. It is clear then.. that even if Biden wins..(near to 0 chance from knowledgeable people)..the UAE will be backed by its own lobby and friends and..by the American Jewish lobby who can influence the Congress as well..So the deal will go through anyhow it goes after the elections..

Whats more funny is, the US not that long ago even declined to sell UAE more Block 60 to replace the ones that crashed.

Anyways, it shouldn't matter to us as Pakistanis what any Arab countries decide to do with their foreign relations or defense purchases. If they want to ignore Palestinians (not like the khaleejis or any other Muslim country for that matters owe them anything). They (Palestinians) are equally responsible for their current state and misery and the Jews and Americans/Europeans.

I say let the gulf countries do whatever they want to each other. But be ready for defend your own (Pakistani) interests. And any war against Turkey or Iran is going to go against Pakistani interest and stability.

You are mistaken on that, I think @Raider 21 actually saw new ones being built at the new Lockheed facility in Greenville S.C,

If my info is correct, as of now their fleet stands at around 110, including wartime losses replacement.

Well proof is in the pudding. I'm sure you could provide any source of new F-16s for UAE being contracted for or built in the US.

Of course, if they are willing to now sell the F-35, approving new F-16s shouldn't be a hurdle. However, my post was factual in that the US declined to provide UAE with new F-16s earlier. Maybe UAE sold out its foreign policy to appease the US and Israeli for new toys.

UAE lost its visionary plot which H. H sheikh zayed al nahyan set for them which took them to the highest possible position in the world but now these new leaders are very very weak abd dont know how to lead the nation so they are starting o destroy its very existance

UAE under sheikh zayed maintain good policy we do not want war and we are not going to ve part of any war

They thrieved with this but his son is going against it

Your post was anything BUT factual. but since you claim it was, I'm sure you can provide a credible source for it.

On the new Blk60/61's, do lookup DSCA notification dated Jan24 2014.

As to the F35's, there is no indication from anywhere that they have been approved. Lastly, we will talk when they ACTUALLY land!

There is more at play here w.r.t. to their foreign policy than just new toys, but I dont expect biased, myopic kids to understand that.

The links you posted from 2013 and 2014 never materialized since the Congress never approved them. Only upgrades to existing fleet have since happened to Block 61 standard. Unless you are saying it has taken 7 years for the US and they have not yet manufactured a single new F-16 for UAE?

US, UAE Could Sign Deal To Acquire ‘Non-Stealthy’ F-35 Fighter Jets By End Of 2020: Reports

Published

Amid the murmurs that Israel is blocking the possible sale of American F-35 stealth fighter jets to the UAE, new reports indicate that a deal might be signed between the US and UAE by December.

After the historic peace agreement with Israel, experts say that doors have opened for the UAE to acquire latest, state-of-art weaponry from the US without Israeli objection. While this is the case, an additional factor could be the influx of Chinese weapons on the battlefields of the Middle-East, which is also seen as a concern for the United States.
Reuters has learnt via its sources that the F-35 deal is expected to be formalised in time for the UAE national day, celebrated on 2nd December. With that in mind, Washington is studying ways to make Lockheed Martin’s F-35 “more visible to Israeli radar systems,” two sources told Reuters.
