Not yo mention more battle proven, or perhaps more ruggedly tested.
There's the Russian T-90.
The French Leclerc.
The famous Abrams.
The Turkish Altay.
The Chinese Type 99.
The Challenger.
Why the K2?
It seems like an entirely untested piece of hardware, the Saudis are at war, won't they need something reliable and proven which gives confidence to their boots on the ground?.

Other than Germany and USA they can get most weapons with TOT with no issue. Other countries don't show hypocrisy of human rights. On the one hand supporting Israel and its campaign of mass murders and on other hand not selling weapons to KSA.

you know KSA wanted to buy over 500+ Leopard A7 but some in Germany questioned the sale, because of KSA human rights record.


but sadly money speaks in the end.


if KSA can get ToT and large order of tanks they probably will, but then how well they field these beasts is would a good discussion in another thread.


KSA if they wanted to get serious they could fund an APS for it's abrams. a billion or two would be nothing too them.

There are news in Turkish newspapers saying Saudis will buy land vehicles from Turkey cost 2.5 billion to 10 billion.Not much information If there will be purchase bid or something different.Also says they are related much with Anka uav.

I see here only rumors nothing else, even the K2 Project hasn´t finished yet, how they can buy an unfinished product ?
