Sir Punjab Police bhi jab Political kamon k liye apnay vehicles use kerti ha tu aisay hi excuses daiti ha... nothing new, no police force in Pakistan is apolitical including punjab, KPK, Sindh and Baluchistan....Remember what happened to the family of Asma Rani of kohat, they were threatened by PTI people in kohat, the threats were so intense that no local lawyer in kohat was ready to take their case, and Kohat police did nothing to protect them due to political influence. the family had to request Peshawar High court to transfer their case from Kohat to peshawar, check this link for details...

PESHAWAR: The family of medical student Asma Rani, who was murdered in Kohat last month, filed a petition in the Peshawar High Court (PHC) requesting the case to be transferred to Peshawar as they are receiving death threats from the family of prime accused in Kohat.

The petition was filed by Asma Rani’s brother Muhammad Irfan. Irfan also asked the court to transfer the bail application of accused Shah Zeb to Peshawar as he was not able to follow the case in Kohat.



Asma’s family currently resides in Kohat and claim that the suspect’s family has immense political influence in their local district. Their influence in the district likely to influence the case, the victim’s family says. They claim that even local lawyers are not ready to take the case because of the influence of the accused.

“Asma’s family along with the lawyers are facing threats and are not ready to take her case in the sessions court,” said lawyers Ghulam Mohiuddin Malik and Muhammad Farooq Malik, who appeared in front of CJ Afridi. “For dispensation of justice, it is necessary to transfer the case to PHC.”



“The accused are mighty influential and have an impressive strength in the Kohat district. On each day of the hearing, they come to the court with a huge number of supporters, putting Asma’s relatives under pressure and harassment; threatening their lives and creating a hostile atmosphere in the court,” they added.

Lawyers further highlighted the political pressure on the case. The accused party has a strong political background as the suspect is close relatives with members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

one must ask where is depoliticized police of kpk? why police not protecting the victims?
Why in D.I Khan stripping case kpk police is using delaying tactics?...
So, come out of your cult & wake up there is no depoliticised police in Pakistan...right now...

no one is defending punjab police, one must condemn them if they do anything wrong, i condemn them at all wrong acts including model town... justice must be done, point is i am not cult follower of any party, i will not defend the wrongs of any party or organization, i am not like cult followers of PTI, they will defend the wrongs of IK & PTI no matter what...so again pity.

regarding Asma Rani case, FIA arrested criminal with the help of interpol, cuz when interpol gets involved the matter becomes federal, so FIA team brought him back and handed over to kpk police...

I don't like debating such mattets endlessly, its waste of time but Look my point is that in current day pakistan, police force of no province is depoliticised, in kpk asma rani, d.i khan case is a proof of that, same in punjab, sindh etc. the politicians across the board, they will keep doing political point scoring, but we as pakistanis need to be unbiased, in politicians may say koi bhi jeetay ya haaray, hamay kia milay ga? We must be neutral, sahi ko sahi kaho ghalat ko ghalat simple...
