I understand govt job.. but how can you terminate private jobs? and who will pay for their food/housing etc.

well my friend, MQM cannot stop anyone from coming into sindh because MQM is not the authority of sindh, MQM demanded screening of the pathans IDPs because of terrorists and entire Punjab closed the doors for pathan IDPs but obviously you guys need to lick Punjab's feet otherwise how would you survive in Pakistan?

as a matter of fact, the 99% traffic flow of pathan ODPs was towards karachi and they were not allowed to settle in either Sindh or Punjab, shows the magnanimity of MQM and karachiites

they have been stopped from entering into karachi and sindh if you like it or not but that is what has happened to them, and we speak against punjab too where its due. for your information punjab did set up few camps for IDP's unlike karachi where your DADOO leader spat venom against IDP's.

They are not supposed to be working in Pakistan without the ANR paperwork or the updated UNHCR blue book or a SCAC: Secure Card for Afghan Citizens : http://www.nadra.gov.pk/index.php/m...dra-launches-secure-cards-for-afghan-refugees

The problem is daily and seasonal migration can go "undetected" and small time businesses will hire Afghan Nationals who do not have the SCAC or Blue Book, effectively these "stateless" people are the ones that are the problem. Blue Book and SCAC or even Afghan's born in Pakistan with B-Form and NIC are okay to stay and work here. Illegals are NOT welcome.

Karachi welcomed all economic migrants from rest of Pakistan for its growing industries. The problem started 1965 Presidential elections when majority of Karachi voted for Fatima Jinnah. Ayub Khan won by vote rigging the his son took victory march in heart of Karachi with Pashtun supporters attacking properties of Fatima Jinnah supporters. Since then it has been ethnic polarization in Karachi.

US has also granted amnesty to illegal immigrants. The Afghan refugees are not afghaninywhere so giving them citizenship also gives the stake in peace and prosperity in Pakistan.

I am not against amnesty but not till Pakistan stable with all this war terrorism we cant afford at all... they sudgo back their afghani money is more stronger then Pakistan..
