[MOU with British council for training 83000 teachers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa]

A MOU was Signed between KP E&SE Deptt and British council. The British council will train 83000 teachers in English, Mathematics, Sciences & General Knowledge. Project Cost is Rs 568 Million. Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will pay 70% expense while British council 30%.

A view of the new Hi-Tech Computer Labs established in Government Schools with the provision of OneScreen solution. Images from Govt High School for Girls No:1 Abbottabad. KP public schools have now about 670 such new IT labs.

Excellent post

My only issue, and this is a BIG problem in the Muslim world, is gender segregated classrooms.
If we want to be part of the global economy and compete with the rest of the world, we can't have boy and girls scared of each other.
Looking at those pictures, its clear that they will be gender segregated, which is bad news.

Well there is a cultural aspect in KPK as well so a person cant just deny thousands of years of cultural history. Such a change should be allowed to happen slowly and over a passage of time rather than have an unnatural intervention which can result in more issues.
