KP government funded 150 kW Micro Hydro Power Project completed

Less than 1 MW, great job PTI!! Naya KPK on full speed!

Maybe you don't understand the term 'micro hydel' and its purpose. These projects are set up around communities in far flung areas where there's no electricity infrastructure and are without electricity. These projects are off-grid solutions for communities who if kept waiting for the 'bigger dams' would remain in the dark for decades to come.

These projects directly impact the down-trodden segment of the society. This should be emulated all over the country specially in Balochistan.

there are many of them here in Norway and some are privately owned selling electricity to national grid. There are few ppl who even run solar systems installed on roof and selling to National grid. You get money from government to install solar power. And dont forget Norway is one of biggest exporter of electricity to europe and despite that they are investing in green energy unlike Pakistan

Go and check ur facts, nandipur bcomes operational 3 days ago and producing 240 MW, 2 turbines made on operational.
how many times it went operation and have to take offline . yes liike a billion times .

KPK Govt. well done.................................

Solar park has 100MW rated capacity, and it opeartes on full capacity during max Sunshine time.
I hope being a non engineer you dont know the technical terms like net power, rated power, availability factor and capacity factor.
So i better not waste my time on pti kids having no knowledge on capacity factor of solar plants.

Micro dams in remote areas will produce cheap electricity for local people homes. It's not like they will run industries with 900KW.

.
Not to brag about it but the MICRO HYDEL projects have been running in Gilgit Baltistan region for decades. I am amazed to see the KPK government starting it now .
