I dont pretend to understand to the psyche of the average Pakistani, its very foreign to me. Its foreign to me how Pakistan can bow their will to people who care nothing for human rights or dignity. To give power to murders and criminals and allow an ideology to take hold which has now snowballed and entrenched itself in government and society. Too bad any you cant criticize the government or power groups, it will get you killed. You cant even question or talk about the notion reform to trying to improve the lives of people as we have seen with Taseer. Pakistan has got too many problems to write about and its too easy to state the obvious.
And you know what? This is all Pakistan's doing. The allowance of groups to roam free on your frontier boarders to people who have opened declared war on their own government is a disgrace. The allowance of people to make their own laws and apply them how they see fit is a massive failure of the state. If Pakistan's borders were secure and didnt all promote an environment of non tolerance none of this wouldnt of happen.
I am not abstaining the US in some of their history but the argument of "Zionist imperialism" as being the cause of Pakistan's woes amounts to putting your head in the sand while your country burns. And it burns on the fumes of a self made fire.
So Pakistan, secure your borders, stop showering people like Mumtaz Qadri with flowers and start educating your people.
