Killing of a trapped man by Indian Army

How can you say with confidence, that the video was taken during a operation, not earthquake? The video was uploaded on August 27, 2011. During 19-23 August 2011, the areas had numerous earthquakes (8 major reportedly) including a 5.1 magnitude. This could be a result of it. (This video appeared on a leading Pakistani news-channel 'ARY' tonight, with citation as during earthquake).

Secondly, if what you say is true, then he should have been tried for terrorism in a court, or held captive. Now as far as the video shows, at 0:48/49 the person's left arm and left leg could be seen. He other half of his body was under the rumbles. His movement was restricted and he was in pain. Without interrogating, how could you claim that he was a Pakistani?

This could add to the war crimes being committed by Indian Army in valley of IOK.

After some research, I did find that the video was taken during a military raid. My apologies for the wrong caption, it was as I found on TV.

However, the latter applies. Some forum posts online claim that he was a Pakistani named 'Ahsan' and was given a chance to surrender. From the video, he was trapped and could have easily been arrested instead of being gunned down at point blank range. I couldn't hear anyone talk to him, I didn't hear him speak his name or identity. I don't reckon that he was carrying his National ID card with him. It is the typical biased statements to malign Pakistani agencies.

RIP to the freedom-fighter.

The only think that is disgusting is your obvious falsehood. That is an anti terrorist operation, the building was blown up by the army which is SOP. The intention was to kill the terrorist. He survived the collapse, nobody takes any risk with potential suicide bombers.

Really? Both of you?

Minimizing the damage he could have caused??
The guy was trapped under rubble, if anything.. they could have got intel from him. It just justification for plain murder. Not saying it doesnt happen elsewhere, but to pretend that it was anything else is something.

1.This is not a earth quake rescue operation. This is a military operation in Kashmir. The environment speaks itself. And no army in the world conduct rescue ops with fully loaded AKs with them. Its common sense.

2.The house has been blown up with explosives. We do not know which side did that.As long as detailed back ground of this entire operation is unknown it is thoroughly absurd to blame the army for their conduct.Should mercy have been shown or not to the victim strictly depends on the profile of the victim and the aim of the operation.

3."Darhiwala" might be an identification mark of the victim. As beard is a common feature in Kashmir, calling particularly someone with that remark hardly indicates anything communal.

No one takes any such chances. Early operations had militants blow themselves up in such situations. The army blows up the building to neutralise militants without risking lives, hardly likely to risk them in trying more silly stuff. (The building owner is suitably compensated)

Well thats secularism for you, anyone with a beard is a terrorist.
Well thats confirmation bias for you, anything that appears to confirm your bias is considered truth. Sure sign of vacuous mind.

I am just glad that i live in Pakistan, i will not be discriminated based upon my religious beliefs.
Not sure if the Hindus, the Christians, the Sikhs, the Shias share your sense of relief. Or agree with you.

Rescuing earthquake victims while carrying guns???? :woot: do you really know how rescue work has been done???

What can you expect from an Indian soldier from Tamil Nadu? They are coward. God might give Ahsan Shahadath. Inshallah.

I guess you will share the same sentiments if there is a similar incident of Pakistani soldiers shooting down TTP guerillas instead of arresting them ?
