While I dont disagree with a lot on content in the op-ed, I also believe Dawn is becoming too extremist in being trying to be liberal.

As for Hafiz Saeed, we cant call him a terrorist just because India calls him one and America wants him to be seen as such.

We dont push back. We accept other country's narrative against us. We have been taking this lying down and I dont see this behavior as acceptable.

For India and America, Hizb ul Mujhahedeen, a group fighting against Kashmir occupation is also terrorist. In future, will we be apologizing for backing Kashmir cause too?

There is a certain clique in Pakistan who want to hand over everything to Americans and live under their diktat. Yaar whilst US forces are stationed in Afghanistan, their will always be violence in the region, the question is how do we make the US vacate the region, we can fight the Haqqanis all we want it will not make an iota of difference until the swamp (US presence) that produces these flies is completely drained out, we can take potshots at flies yet whilst the source is their, it will never cease to produce these vermin.

Now the question is should we play this game? no we don't simply because we can't compete with them after 17 years Pakistan has started to see peace life is coming back into the areas that were once occupied by the evil forces bro we need to get out of this dirty war. You can not force US out of Afg through proxies that's day dreaming if you ask me.

He was snubbed after he took the initiative to attend modis inauguration ceremony.. by indians and for his pro india pro peace stance in the face of indian hostilities... he faced alot of flak for not mentioning Kashmir issue at UN aswell as not even taking Kulbudhan yadavs name in his speech!

Bro the USSR had a far more impressive logistics capability than the US ever did in Afghanistan yet they were forced to vacate, the US economy is not all-powerful, the Chinese have lots of leverage on them due to the enormous debt they owe Beijing and this will only increase if the new Tax plan by the Trump admin is implemented, I really believe insurgents can eventually make it completely a no win situation for the Yanks......I think me and you are not going to agree never the less whoever is right, let us hope the US does vacate this damn region.Kudos bro
