We all knew its not possible to fix loadshedding problem in few months or years but they lied to get votes. Also they paid heavy amount to Mia Mansha & co since they invested in there election. They lied than gave benefits to there sponsors. They are not capable of fixing our problems

yes we have that too many say the rich do it...yea believe that those who can afford doing that imagine what those who cant afford do? Then we have rubbish people who find shortcut in everything! Yani Haram khanay walay (if you know Hindi that is)

The reasons vary from:

Not paying bills/ paying under the table / Corruption
Electricity theft
Old lines hence low efficiency
Not enough dams/ dried dams/ not enough power stations- thermal, coal, solar, hydro - our govt was busy thinking about their stomachs for 5 yrs (PPP) than building new sources of electricity or building anything as a matter of fact

Question rather should be do they have electricity meter attached to the transmission line that supplies panel (pun intended). Electricity theft is not an unheard-of act in Pakistan, interestingly it's done with the collaboration of the authorities tasked to curb the theft. In rural areas majority don't have a meter installed, even in metropolitan like Karachi houses are connected without meters, we call it Kunda. Pay fixed amount of money to corrupt authorities and consume electricity as much as you want to consume.
