Less protocol but never the less it was protocol. The thing is we ouraekges have become that kind of nation where we don't know whether we want protocol or not. Look at Shuja khanzada incident. If he had huge protocol ( a convoy of cars full of police man) then maybe he would have survived the bombing however he didn't and many criticized the govt as to why he wasn't provided protection ( for that protection ilit would have meant they would have had their own cars and ah ambulance in it as well) ..

Noe let's bring this into their lives. Of ttp or RAW target a non secure car of cm khattak or ck shahbaz then we would again be pointing fingers at the security setup of govt...

I believe that the govt needs to pass a defined law for security movement where no more than a set number of cars will be allowed in the protocol...

For pm and president the number would be greater but not at the level of madness...

Remember PPP and their protocols... It had like a hundred cars a minister.

I live in Peshawar and i have seen numerous times the CM traveling in just 3-4 vehicle convoy. Only on special occasions seen roads being blocked, and by special i mean the one like today of opening SKCMH.

The VIP protocol in KPK is far less when compared to what i have seen for the other provinces.

CM KPK used to travel from his house in Hayatabad to CM house on daily basis and its a 20Km journey and with just 3 vehicles. No roads blockage, no sirens accompanying his convoy.

Give the CM KPK credit for that.

OMG another excuse,
Wasn't it better if KPK government would have tried to do point scoring only to fail in the end?

I have no idea what excuse you are pointing to. I am stating the facts as i see it. Plus i am not PTI supporter if that is what you mean.

And KPK has not failed at anything. The VIP culture has been reduced a lot when we compare it to ANP times.

How goes it old friend?

As a resident of KPK, how you rate PTI's performance? Due to new Projects, last year i travelled quite extensively through KPK. I must say, i was impressed by the level of work they're doing and looked miles better than ANP times. But not to the level that IK promised before the 2013 elections. I was surprised i didn't have to pay the customary bribe, considering i am from Lahore and a Rs1000 is customary pretty much everywhere.

Am fine and hope you doing good too.

Yaar they are much much better then all the previous govts. Financial corruption is at its lowest. Initially there were no big projects as the main reason was the majority of the guys in current govt were new and they had no experience in dealing with stuff, but Imran did not wanted to let them meddle with projects as they being new to power would have resulted them go towards corruption. So initially only critical projects were handled. But now once they are into things and understand and have introduced checks and balances, projects have started.

And yeah Imran had promised a lot of things, but you know this system in place for decades and to change it or go against it is not an easy task. Bureaucracy is a big hurdle as everything has to be done through them, tacking them and getting along with them is not an easy task. But he is making progress, many initiatives taken place, many in the pipeline and many will come. Changing decades old system is not an easy task.

But frankly, they are wayyyyy better then all the previous govts.
