These neighbours were greater empires even occupied Iran for nearly 1000 years.. They created empires far lasting and larger then Persia could ever be.. So no.. They have only Oil and Gas which they kept bumping besides from that it is an artificial and broken economy.. Sanctions only happened in 2017 why didn't they reach germany heights before instead of relying on Oil and gas solely based economy..
