Kerala's 'Kiss of Love' organizer arrested over alleged involvement in online sex racket - The Times of India

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Police on Wednesday arrested nine people, including "Kiss of Love" campaign organizers Rahul Pashupalan and his wife Resmi R Nair, for allegedly helping a paedophile group.

Police said some of those arrested in a statewide raid conducted on Tuesday night, had allegedly uploaded pictures of school- and college-going girls on a Facebook page and posted derogatory comments. They added that the cyber police wing got information about an online sex racket that was operating through websites and social media platforms like Facebook.

The "Kiss of Love" campaign started as a movement against moral policing. It was begun after a mob of attackers demolished a coffee shop in North Kerala's Kozhikode city alleging it was a venue for "immoral activity" like the public display of affection by couples.

"Rahul and Resmi have allegedly helped a group which is into supplying children for paedophiliacs. It's too early to comment on their roles in the group," said DIG S Sreejith who led the raids.

Police said some people tried to ram a vehicle into them as they were taking Resmi into custody One of the arrested people is a Kasargod gangster, Akbar. Three of the 11 arrested are said to be from other states.

All the arrested people were moved to Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday morning.

If you had posted this, Indians would have had a field day. The arrested couple and their accomplices were part of the anti-Modi, anti-Hindutva left liberal groups.

Funnily this is the second arrest in a timespan of of a week that involves Adarsh Libs for pedophilia. The first one (Hasan Suroor) happened in the UK (fortunately in the UK, or else the Adarsh Lib group would have cried persecution).

Not sure if Scotland Yard takes orders from Hindutvawadis. But if they were indeed as you are insinuating, we have certainly come a long way from the British Raj.

And the second arrest happened in Kerala - a state ruled by the CONGRESS. By a stretch of imagination I would even believe that the Scotland Yard took orders from Modi. But Kerala Police taking orders from Modi is never going to happen.
