He has done it. He is the chief ulema. He has spoken to all ulemas in Kerala. Who have infected most Imams. So most Muslims are aware of his views.

The guy in question holds tremendous influence not just among the community but also state polity .He is one of the three Eminent intellectuals whom our Chief minister consults on a regular basis.The other two are NSS gen seccy and syro-malabar Archbishop.

I find such discussions fake.
To be frank I don't think women will ever be at par with men.
I am not sure if the debate should be about gender equality at all- women don't need equality but respect.
