Kerala Minister compares cross demolition to babri

if it was some property of muslims, the govt secretariat would have been bombed right now and fascist cm's hand would have been chopped,.

Its a COMMUNIST CM so its unlikely his hands would be chopped. Those trying would have their heads chopped.

This is state of Kerala economics. Better you ask him to stop kerala from going bankrupt.

Christian religious terrorism is common in Northeast against non-christians. Mostly these are funded by churches in the US Bible Belt and certain European countries.

After abusing Hindus and Hinduism for having caste, the same Shameless guys are now demanding reservations for Dalit Christians and muslims

Not in the level of what muslims are doing across the world.

Typical Abrahamic expansionism.

Organised religion should have stayed in Middle East so that other civilisations and agnostics could live peacefully.

Numerous temples and roadside shrines are also demolished.

Religion is the easiest way to grab land here.

The government here knows this excuse and simply demolishes any religious illegal structure.

Christianity is no less a culprit in it as much as anything else.

The irony here is that you name Abrahamic expansionism, yet in your own country Muslims and other minorities are getting threats to convert to Hinduism. Dalits aren't allowed to leave Hinduism. Some people are killed who have converted from Hinduism to other religions. We can also put many labels on Hinduism.

Religion doesn't teach expansionism. Religion doesn't teach force. Humans who abuse religion for political gain seek expansionism. Make that distinction.

Religion does teach expansionism and respond aggresively when exposed to such expansionism from any other religion. All religions do that, have done that, or are doing that, some religions more than others. Expansion of christianity caused clashes with judaism, expansion of islam caused clashes with Christianity. even though all these 3 religions are very very similar, they clashed, caused bloodshed and expanded through money, power and force.

Religion is different from faith. Religion is organised, faith is personal. One should prey to god, and dont bother oneself about what the other person believes in.

I don't know where you get such news.

Our faiths aren't organised religions and there are no rules. People here use conversion as an instrument to receive financial benefits and freebies from Church and Dawah money.

Don't you think it is a bit rich coming from you, where you actually have blasphemy and apostasy laws?

Not in the level of what muslims are doing across the world.

I agree.

But it is done under the radar. Not appreciated. Here, religion is often confused with culture/faith and people take it seriously and literally.

We don't appreciate Abrahamic expansionism en masse - be it through deceit or violence.

By we, I mean Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs and Jains. We don't compel or tempt people to mass convert and we don't expect the same to our communities as well.

My question exactly.

If Abrahamic religions claim to remove much-touted discrimination, then why do castes and factions have distinct identities even after conversion?

After conversion, all benefits should be revoked and nullified.
