You see that IS the point. Be the Devil's Advocate. Think, what good is it do to Kejri if he gets the work done.

Say he does not do any development for Delhi - instead he spends his time expanding his base to UP, Gujarat etc. All he has to do is to cry victim of communal politics of BJP, saying that Modi did not support him as he was from a secular party or something to that effect. Cooperating with Modi on the other hand will expose him - as it is IMPOSSIBLE to meet the promises he made. He knows that.

But the problems with Delhi are very different from the national level elections.

For example, while I am a staunch supporter of Modi ji at the Center, I would always support Sikkim Democratic Front in my state, because what SDF is performing well.

What's wrong with the people of Delhi? Have they forgotten those 49 days of AK last year? Their IQ is lower than apples, oranges and other vegetables. This Muffler fa**ot needs a rusty blade on his throat.

Could this result in center against state? The BJP had a majority in the capital with 32 of the 70 seats and was on a role, what changed? The whole of the BJP cabinet and modi was campaigning for the delhi elections full throtle, and yet they plumetted to what looks like less then 5 seats. What went wrong, was modi too prominent? Is this the point where the BJP starts to loose its honey moon period?

That(vhp n bd) issue had no role in a cosmopolitan city like Delhi .... BJP lost due to many factor ....
1) Delayed the assembly elections
2) BJP sluggish approach to counter the AK on policies.
3) BJP internal rifts
4) BJP workers were clueless on what face or agenda they would go to the public... Lot of ambiguity prevailed till last moment among workers.
5) Late induction of Kiran bedi, had she joined the party six month back things would have been different...
5) Negative politics
6) BJP remained silent on the issues of delhi after GE till election announced however AK kept himself relevant with taking up issues of delhi n started focusing in Delhi for last 6-7 months....
